This is just like the other Domini games. It is okay with nothing new except story line. What happened to Hidden Expedition? This is definitely NOT like the original series and I miss it. I'm sorry I spent the money on this. Bring back the way is was.
I don't recommend this game.

I have all the games in the series and have enjoyed them. This was an average game, with average skills needed. I liked this one until almost the end of the game when I was unable to get the final item in the final HOP. Hint didn't help, stones game didn't help, clicking everywhere didn't help. I couldn't finish the main game and, therefore, I can't make use of the CE I purchased and get to the bonus game. VERY ANNOYED. For that reason alone I can't recommend it.
I don't recommend this game.

Lasted less than 5 minutes, then uninstalled. Loved Alice, this game is awful.
I don't recommend this game.

I rarely give reviews but felt the need on this one. I urge you to try the game before buying, regardless of who you look to for reviews! I couldn't make it through the entire demo. No clue how this received 5 stars from anyone.
Some of the actions and parts of the storyline had me scratching my head on the logic. I did like the sound, but most scenes are dark making it difficult to see items needed for either regular play or HO - found myself squinting almost the entire time. As for game play, there is a LOT of back and forth, with revisiting again and again for yet another single item. Thankfully there is a jump map. The game has a lot of hand-holding, so it is very easy, almost no thought is needed. Not for me as CE or SE.
I don't recommend this game.

I rarely write a review but felt the need. What is going on with the developers lately? This is the second game in 3 days where the hint button or some other item is constantly blinking or jumping. It is very distracting and annoying. I know where the hint button is, believe me, I don't need a constant reminder.
The game has beautiful graphics, as always. I do wish they would go back to the original way of playing the game though. Over time this series has deteriorated in game play, fun and interest just like many of the other wonderful series lately. The developers appear to be cranking them out just to get them out without much thought or effort. This one is no exception with many scenes lifted right out of previous ones. Why can't they come up with something new?
The storyline is difficult to follow with connections to the past that you aren't told about for a while, seem disjointed and not all that compelling. Some of the play refers to the previous games in the series. If you haven't played them you won't understand what the reference is.
Maybe you will enjoy this one. I, personally, regret spending the money.

I never write reviews but look at them prior to purchase. I cannot understand how this got so many good reviews. The storyline is OK but done before (again and again) and dialog is predictable, forced and many times unnecessary. I found myself frantically clicking through dialog and cut scenes to move on with the game. Also, there is WAY too much back and forth for one item to use. Level of challenge is poor and not much fun.
I really tried to like this game as I have purchased prior Witches' Legacy games and had fun with them but have not been able to enjoy this one. I couldn't stand to play it for more than about 1/2 - 3/4 hour at a time before ennui set in. Since I actually paid for this game I wanted to complete it, however, have been unable to do so. On top of being a pretty lousy game it keeps bombing out on me, giving me a black screen. I have had to reboot my laptop 6 times in the last 2 days trying to get the game to run again and have lost ALL patience. I have purchased a lot of games and rarely have issues playing them, however, since this is the second game in one month where I have had unresolvable technical issues I just deleted it and will take it as a loss.
I don't recommend this game.
