I didn't buy this game for ages because a lot of people weren't thrilled with it. But there I was, bored out of my brain so I purchased the CE. I am so glad I did. The puzzles were great, in my opinion, the graphics perfectly fine, new rooms and not too much back and forth and all the objects you were looking for, and the tasks you had to complete, all made sense. And the story flowed through the whole game. Worth the money in my opinion.
I recommend this game!

So after reading the negative reviews I went ahead and only downloaded the trial. Well after playing the trial I bought the game. Look, it's not quite like the usual fare we get from a MCF game. So what I did was forget it was a MCF game and played it like it was an individual game and you know what? I enjoyed it. I loved the mini puzzles, I enjoyed the graphics, the story line was ok and I loved that there wasn't so much toing and froing.
Yes I can understand why die hard MCF fans would be disappointed, as well as classic HOG fans, but I found it to be an enjoyable game and didn't feel that my money was wasted.
I recommend this game!

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I sadly felt moved to post, even though I have never posted before, despite buying alot of games from BFG. Now I will be honest, it seems to me that I was about the only person who read the BFG disclaimer about it being a disturbing game. So I knew all about that before hand. And I will also admit that I only played the trial version, but that was enough for me. I HATED the morphing objects. The only time you could use a hint was during the morphing part and there was no obvious place for you to go. After all the hype and all the amazing previous MCF games, imagine my surprise and disappointment. Thank Gosh I didn't buy it.
I don't recommend this game.
