I have finished the game, and I must say that I have been thoroughly impressed throughout the entire gameplay.
The graphics are excellent, I love the soundtrack and the characters are endearing.
Gameplay would be 6 hours tops.
It is easy, though in some spots, you might have to think a little more. It isn't as hard as other puzzle games, but this has definitely no HO in it.
Storyline was brilliant in the beginning, with the twist on Oz. Venturing into the plot, it drew me in but they could have explained better. The ending however, was extremely disappointing.
Note: Try to collect all of your buttons asap, because you will not be allowed to return after finishing the game. [Unless you started a new one]
Nonetheless, there is reason why it is highly favorable in this community. Get it.
I recommend this game!

This is the sequel, so don't even think about getting this w/o Ave Flo!
The graphics are excellent, and it can be considered one of the better 'adventure' games out there.. [Y'know, the kind where there are mini games and you'll have to keep walking back and forth] You've got to find balloons and bottles [as compared to Ave Flo, where one finds butterflies and bottles instead] and they made it a lot harder this time round, because the balloons can blend into trees, hide behind cars, buildings etc. So always be watchful, because it was a huge pain in the neck to keep walking around just to find that one balloon [and bottle].
You don't have to keep using the subway too, just the times where you've got to go to the next area [as compared to Ave Flo, where Flo needs to go back to the first map from the third and so on]. They crafted it very much like the first one, so the plot line can get a little monotonous. And it makes you wonder if Quinn's really just a manipulative friend who only succeeds with Flo's help. -.-
The mini games are okay, not too hard, and it's great for bonding with your younger siblings / nieces and nephews who are still kids.

1) I hated the fact that whilst designing, everything I choose is in sketch mode, which means that I cannot see the whole thing come together. 2) When you are done with building the home, they give you a picture of the whole thing, but it's gone really quick, and I'm sure you can find the picture in your portfolio, but I'm too lazy. I'd like to admire the 10 min effort I put into the room immediately, y'know? 3) The choices seemed a lot initially, but started to turn out really monotonous, esp when the customers are asking for something and all you find is the same furniture over and over again. [and the choices given don't really match what the customer wants] 4) The game looks like it will be over quickly. [I only got the demo]
If you are into interior designing, I'll recommend this to you. :) However, for players in general, I recommend the demo.
Honestly, I'd only get the full game if there was an offer, like at $2.99 or something. :/

I got it for only $2, I think, so that was definitely value for money. But that aside,
1) the graphics certainly suited the theme. 2) I suspect that it's made by the creators of Puppetshow, so if you like that series, you'll probably like this one. 3) Too many hidden object games, too many... And they have some items which need interactive actions before you can find it, and they don't specify where you have to direct an item to another [e.g trowel to pile of dirt, they show you where the trowel is, but where is the dirt? And the hints don't help you on that] 4) You have to keep backtracking, it can get a little annoying 5) Not much puzzles, it's more on finding/collecting things [I don't mean in the hidden object way] and where there are puzzles, they aren't tough in general. 6) There is an actual plot in this one. Like how one discovers the whole thing at a later point in the story, yet they show enough to make you suspect who is the culprit. The ending was pretty good too, because there is an obvious hint at a sequel, yet the town had some sort of a happy ending. 7) The weird thing is, I'm not sure if Emily, who is asking me to follow her throughout, is Emily in the flesh, cause e.g She walks into a place, I go in and discover that I need a ladder. Like what's up with that? How did she get down there? -.- 8) The voiceovers were pretty good, but the accents were British, and yet the town states that its a French one. I could be wrong tho'. 9) The town is bigger than it looks at first sight. Srsly. 10) I'm not too sure about the specters at every corner tho'. It shows that the graphics are pretty good, but uh.. Unnecessary?
Tip for people who find it creepy: It will be creepy, so.. Turn on some music that makes you happy and it will not be creepy at all. :)

After Dash and Puppetshow games, when I was greeted with the dated graphics [and not the good kind], it's expected that I was a little turned off. However, it was really challenging and I liked that part. BUT, this is the first game I've encountered on BFG which has glitches... Glitch #1: When there are too many artistes at the counter waiting for the signage of contracts, the artiste stuck at the filming counter becomes permanently stuck. -__- Glitch #2: Combo only allows 2 people at a go. [Combo is not the same as chaining... Apparently.] And when you try to add a third party, one of the artistes disappears. Like, in that split second, you could almost see him/her being thrown out of the window, lol.
It's an okay game, but I wouldn't buy it. Challenge factor aside, I discovered that Dash games have changed the way I play time management games, so it is unacceptable to me that I cannot keep chaining/combo-ing because of the limitations of the game.
Oh, and there are hidden object games after every stage too. Just a heads-up.

I played Lost Town [which is the sequel] first, so when I played this, I was stunned that the graphics are pretty dated. It's not that it's bad, it's just that Lost Town's graphics really blew me away, so the standards were set high. That being said, that means they improved, did they not? And there's something nice about retro graphics. :)
Anyway, they set a nice base plot for the story, and the characters touch the heart [e.g the love/devotion of Felicia's dad]. I must say, this ending is much better than Lost Town's, but this one ended abruptly.
Also, it's probably because I've played Lost Town first, but the challenges here are way too easy. But it's fine by me, because it makes for a relaxing play. :)
The sequel only got better, so I encourage the hesitant customer to get both this and Lost Town. [Am unsure about the third installment as I've not finished it yet, but I am sure Puppetshow will not disappoint me.]
I recommend this game!

Some might find it a teensy bit childish, but everyone can be childlike once in a while, right? It made me feel happy, and the puzzles and walking around was a new thing with Dash games. The game really sucked me in and I couldn't stop playing. Definitely a game for all ages, and if I had a kid, I would play it with him/her.
I recommend this game!

As usual, Playfirst has delivered an awesome game. What piqued my interest was how easy the game was, as compared to the other Playfirst games. I had no difficulty getting expert throughout, as compared to Diner Dash 5: BOOM, where I was like -__- gotta work harder..

This was much, much better than the Painted Tower. This time round, there is free advice from Franklin [non-rechargable FTW!] and the instructions were much clearer.
The graphics improved too [even if it's a lil], and it seemed like I was being 'drawn' into the world of Drawn [pun intended].
Challenges were perplexing, which made for a good think [and a tired me] but resulted in a good experience overall.
They improved the ending too.
Overall, better than Painted Tower. Unfortunately, one has to play the Painted Tower to get what's going on/ the full experience, so I suggest for hesitant customers, that you.. Try the Painted Tower hour demo, and see if you like that sort of thing, then just get both the Painted Tower and Dark Flight. Because I regretted getting Painted Tower, but it made sense after Dark Flight. Much better.
I was caught by the demo, so I got the full game. I must say, the graphics are captivating. My cousins were stunned to find out that this was a game, and we had fun finding the hidden objects together. The puzzles were challenging, and much thinking was involved, so that's good. However, at the end, all too many hidden object games all at once, so it's like -.- zzz for the eyes. Ending was also like.. What..? That's all I get? And definitely not for the young/faint-hearted.
I've heard that the sequel was even spookier, so... If you can't handle this one, don't try the others. -.-
