Super fun, challenging. A couple puzzles are easy, but the instructions are there for the hard puzzles. (You have to hit escape and "i" for all those complaining about no instructions...) Sudoku, mind benders, crosswords where you jumble the letters, bonus rounds. I BOUGHT IT! :) Something fun for the family to do together and thank you for a break from the same old-same old, BFG! ;)
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
The real actors thing is old, the fact that I had to hear the psychic telling me what to do was annoying, and the storyline was lame. Miss the creativity of the old MCF.
Here is a great strategy game. You are at this man's huge estate and everything is locked. You have to find keys, codes, solve puzzles, and explore his house. It's pretty challenging and still has great graphics, even in comparison to what's come out recently! I love the Adventure Company. I will admit, the first time I played this, I used a strategy guide, and that totally helps make sense of a few things, but once you play it, you will play it again and again. A fun game for those who like to solve puzzles!
I recommend this game!

The game of the year addition has tons of mini-games you can play once you complete the game. The game play goes something like this: You earn "suns" (from the sky or from the sunflowers you plant) to grow your garden. Your garden is composed of various plants that defend the house (a man who doesn't want his brains eaten) from the zombies. As you go through the game the first time, you earn new plants to help you. Soon, you start earning money to buy more plants (each plant does something different). You also have a few other things going on besides, like a garden you can grow. You buy supplies and grow a large tree that, when you grow tall enough, gives you fun features like dancing zombies, zombies with mustaches, confetti, daisies, talking modes, etc. Personally, I like the mini games the best, but it is fun to go back and play the game, too. Vase breaker is my weakness. It's been a year and a half and not a day goes by that I don't play this game for at least an hour a day.
The mini-games are unique, fun, and challenging. The hidden object scenes are crowded, but the objects are very easy to see. The Louisiana atmosphere is very realistic and envelopes you. I've never eaten gumbo, but I always end up with a severe hunger for it while playing this game, ha ha! Great soundtrack, atmosphere noises, and sound effects. Hilarious characters HOWEVER I could do without having to go back and have conversations with a few of them, it would be nice if this was not mandatory, but I can't complain, it's part of their creativity and it's not over-done. I love the achievement system and the crown and golden insignias. MCF did another wonderful job with this addition to their line of games. :)
I recommend this game!

My favorite game of all time. Classic. Challenging puzzles, awesome achievement system, fun characters, unique gameplay. Very original and fun game! Love the extras, like being able to go back and play the mini-games and the long bonus gameplay. Every gamer should own this game. Seriously.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
