What could have been a fascinating story and enveloping game was anything but. The gameplay was tedious, a lot of the hidden objects to find were not listed, but there silhouette's were shown instead. The story tried to be interesting, but didn't make it, and the ending was just awful.
Not worth it, even as a DD.
I don't recommend this game.

This is the first game I bought from Big Fish and the one I go back to and play the most. Finding the hidden objects is challenging without being tedious and the cooking is a lot more "realistic" than in other cooking games. My only complaint is that there are so few levels. Hopefully a sequel which is equally as good will someday be released.
I recommend this game!

I was excited to play this game as I had just recently read the book. Sadly, the game was disappointing. While following the book quite closely, it is just telling the story, you click on some objects, here's more story, etc. It wasn't exciting or compelling to play. I didn't even finish the trial.
Also, this game must have been translated into English, seeing as there were some strange things to find, ie. "roped instruments" instead of "stringed instruments."
