Fun game to play. Enjoyed the voice overs and my ermine. Wasn't sure what to do with pet coins until I read another review. Thanks to that person. Want to thank the devs for not making you click on an interactive object again in the HO scenes once you've put them together. It automatically erases the item from the list once you are done. So many games want you to click on the item again after task is done and I dislike that. The map functions differently than most, but OK for jumping around. Since there is a great sale this weekend will probably buy to see the end of the story.
To save your father from a hideous monster, you've decided to sacrifice your own freedom. Now you must journey through a strange and magical land before time runs out!
Senior citizen with no children or grandkids. I love the game for the characters and the scenery especially. Weepie made me laugh when she couldn't cry. I'm a fan of all the dark, spooky tales, but I just love games like this to laugh at creatures antics and revel in the scenery. Music was lovely also. Beautiful game. Try the demo, you might like it as much as I do. Definite purchase for me.
Played the beta and asked the devs to hurry up and release the game so I could finish it. They did. Love the smaller scene HOs in the HOs, intriguing story, great visuals. Other reviewers have presented all the details so won't repeat. Try the demo, you'll love it. Off to buy it. At the half price sale how can you go wrong.
I read every review before I played the demo and then purchased the game with a free game credit. The Love Stories (I own all three) are wonderful changes from the other dark, adventure HOGs I like. This story was a plus because my grandfather was at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7th as a customs officer and my Dad enlisted not long after the attack. You can still see the bullet holes on buildings at a number of the military bases. The home at the top of the hill could be in Pearl City or Aiea. Lovely, sweet story. Complaints - it is a very short game even for me because I play in slowpoke mode. The instructions on a couple of the games weren't clear to me and I ended up skipping. On the whole for me, very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. Do the demo, decide for yourself.
Love that the HOS are put things into place and the interaction when you do is wonderful and entertaining. Won't tell and spoil the fun. Love the graphics and colors - beautiful and truly fantasy like. Love the phone hint. Great SG and the map is even a beauriful drawing. This review is based on demo only and I will buy this. Love a game that makes me laugh and this one has that type of highlight. Thanks Elephant Games and BigFish.
Definitely won't spend for the CE. OK game, but I'll pass. Others have given explicit details about why hohum. I agree with all. Play demo and decide for yourself.
I know the title is mixed but that's how I felt when I finished the demo. Love, love the game. The music, graphics, nutcracker, cat, rats, Mary. Everything. Did I say the music? (Had to repeat) The reviews before me are awesome with details, so I won't even try. Just want to say that I'm in sunny Florida, temp in mid 70's and I felt cold while playing the HO scene in the trunk by the gate. The wind was whistling, snow was falling and I wanted a jacket. Really got immersed into the game. Thank you Elephant Games devs. Kudos.
I loved everything about this game. Graphics, music, voice overs, HOs, a little adventure, collecting what you need (got as far as planks for the bridge) by playing solitaire, menacing wizard/bad guy and a handsome good guy for us older women. Highly recommend.
I recommend this game!

Pride & Prejudice: Hidden Anthologies
Explore the rich world of Jane Austen’s most beloved novel, Pride & Prejudice! Enjoy this Hidden Object Adventure and get a new perspective to the classic story.
Well, I read all the reviews before I played the demo which is short, about 40 minutes. It promises more and better to come, but not sure I'm ever going to see it. I agree with the reviewer who said the music grated. I also love classical music, but I couldn't find where to turn it down and it irritated more than anything. So if I buy, I'll turn sound off and play my own more melodic classical tunes. SPOILER: Game play was OK once I figured out a couple of things, get Mum dusting before I could poker the chair, etc. Lots of reading and I would prefer to get the book again and curl up with it than playing this. Maybe if it goes on sale for 2.99 just so I can see what happens. Definitely try the demo.
For some reason I couldn't leave the train station and get back to the grocery. So, it's cute, just not for me. Definitely play the trial and make your own decision.
