What a stunningly well crafted game this one is. Such a departure in the graphics from the usual fare, which, while not bad by any means are left in the dust with the style & art of this beautiful game. The voice overs are very good & the story line is fun. Puzzles are not overly challenging in the trial & the collectible cupcakes are a fun new twist. Sound track is excellent & overall I find this game to be completely captivating. HOS are well done & nothing is so hidden you need a magnifying glass to find it. The developers did a wonderful job on this game.

I played the demo for 30 min. & was extremely disappointed in outdated, grainy graphics. A sorry excuse for not being able to hide objects in a clever & innovative way in my opinion. You should not need a magnifying glass to find these objects & even that object was not of much help in some instances. I wouldn't buy this game as SE let alone a CE. I did not remember the earlier installments of this series as being so poorly done. If a developer wants to appeal to an educated & informed audience they had better step up their game.
What's not to like with a game that gives you more than most CE games in terms of graphics, storyline, soundtrack, puzzles, adventure & HOS. And, did I mention that this game is lonnnnnnnnnnng? Kid you not one of the longest games I have played period & never a dull moment. The scenes were beautiful & varied & meant to keep you guessing. The map was so convenient for quick transport & believe me there were a potload of locations so you need it. The hint meter fills quickly & the skip button is pretty fast as well in case you get stuck or frustrated with one of the many puzzles. All in all a very good game & what a bargain.
I liked this new offering from Elephant games. I was a bit disappointed in the length of the demo but I think some other developers are shortening their trials as well. The graphics were really clear & crisp with beautiful scenes, vo & interesting puzzles. The storyline is fine & a welcome relief as someone else mentioned from the dark, somber games we've seen so much of lately. Not a difficult game & you need to take photos with the camera in your inventory as you progress thru the game.
There was literally nothing I did not like about this game. Crisp clear graphics, clever interactive hos, evil little man & all of his nasty tricks, great storyline & sound track & fun puzzles with some different twists. Definitely had to think outside of the box on a few of them but all in all a very, very good game from ERS yet again. Love these combo hog/adventure games when they are so very well done. Kudos to the developers. This was a fairly long game & when you add in the Bonus play it's even better. Never was bored with this game.
Easily one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. The sound track, graphics, puzzles, storyline, & last but not least the humor made this game such a pleasure to play. Simply stunning & now will have to purchase the CE since I cannot wait to move on in this amazing game.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
I have been a huge fan of MCF games from BFG but this new one is just plain awful. From the very dark story, dark uninspiring graphics to the acting I can find little to recommend this game. What happened to the beautiful game style we saw in Ravenhurst, Madame Fate etc. I am a fan of great voiceovers but the acting just didn't do it for me. So sorry to offer up such a harsh review but could not enjoy this game at all.
