I read the reviews and thought I would try it anyway. I enjoyed the play and did not encounter what other reviewers stated they encountered. The pumpkin head kid joins the play again. Despite being a cute character, I don't think he detracts from the game play. The puzzles aren't too difficult, but I played the trial in casual mode. Collectible owls and figurines are well hidden, but not impossible to find. I always try to see what the bonus stuff is and you can put a puzzle together for a screen saver. The storyline is a bit creepy because you are being watched, which is part of the atmosphere of this game. The graphics are good and the voice overs are good. You get to choose between a male or female voice for your character. I think is a nice touch because the play is more immersive rather than playing as an outsider pushing a game character, if that makes sense. Try the trial for yourself and form your own opinion. I am glad I did.
I recommend this game!

I thought this might be a fun game, but it turned out to be just okay. The collectibles that I found in the demo are coins. Three levels of difficulty with no custom option. The animations are a bit clumsy in a couple places. I'm not fond of the way the facial features are done. It is as if the developers had an oval window to place the faces. The voice overs are fine. If the developers had spent just a bit more time polishing this game, it would have been much better. Check it out. Perhaps buy it on a deal or wait until the SE is released.
I don't recommend this game.

Based on the demo. With all the great reviews, I thought I would try this game. I quickly became bored with it. Nothing really new that I could see. I wasn't impressed with the character modeling. It reminded me of older games, like Siberia (which I liked), and I kind of expect more in 2015. The storyline was okay. I just feel underwhelmed by this game. Voice overs were good. I liked that I could skip the elevator with the map. Maybe I will get this as a SE on sale or free game. The same old morphing items and collectibles, and why do I have to collect so many cars? Is it to keep me distracted from the monotony? I'm glad others liked it and perhaps you will, also. It wasn't my cup of tea, I guess. I quit playing before the end of the demo because I was actually falling asleep.
I don't recommend this game.

I was excited to see another Eipix game, but I quickly lost interest in this game. I won't rehash the plot or what is in the game because it has been covered well by other reviewers. It just wasn't very interesting to me and I felt the puzzles were quite easy, although some were a little different than typically seen. I really didn't like the way the dialogue was approached with the character being inanimate and the dialogue written out and read. Voices were clear, but stereotypical. I felt the game was very formulaic and seemed like Eipix gave us a game where they provided a list to their new developers to check off each game extra. I usually will play demos in one sitting, but I found myself playing a few minutes and then coming back to see if it was better. It wasn't and I deleted it before I even finished the demo. It just didn't appeal to me. Play the demo before you decide for yourself. It isn't a buy for me in CE or SE.

I have been wondering where the game quality has been and almost thought the trend was towards easy, short, and rather nondescript games. Well, Eipix, where have you been!? I thoroughly enjoyed the demo and plan to buy this game. It has been a long time since I have felt like buying a game at full price. I liked the interactive quality of the HOPs. The voiceovers, the color, the artwork, the time period; it all appealed to me. If there is one critique, I'm not fond of the daintiness of the cursor, but it does fit, none-the-less. Guys, put your pretty button up shoes on. This game held my interest throughout the demo. Everything is there from the Strategy Guide to the Collecting. Have fun and enjoy the game!
I recommend this game!

I was excited about a new PuppetShow. While it has some innovative play, it was far too easy. It isn't as creepy as previous PuppetShows. You can find and earn coins to upgrade a Wonder of the World. It has achievements, wallpapers, etc.; the typical Collector Edition items. It is visually appealing. It isn't horrible, but I'm passing on it.
I don't recommend this game.

in good conscience, I can't. First, I had the opportunity to beta this game and when I saw it available today, I had high hopes. I wanted to see how the story progressed and see how live acting games have improved. Technically, this game rocks! The behind the scenes was interesting. SPOILER: The bonus chapter was a prologue about the Dad, but, unfortunately, it pretty much rehashed the game. I think I would have much rather learned how the virus might have been overcome or how it spread. The biggest problem with this game is that a CE should have a full Strategy Guide, and this one quit where the beta game ended. Until BF states this has been fixed, save your money. It is useful in areas that don't quite make sense. I played this game at the most challenging level and found it relatively challenging in a few places. It only took me a couple hours to complete the game. I get the feeling that the developers were more about the technical fete than the game play itself. It was a lot of back and forth in several places. Finally, a big pet peeve of mine is spelling congratulations with a "d". Ugh.
