I gave up on this game 30 mins into the free trial. It's a straightforward match three game, but that's it really. Same thing level after level. I didn't even bother using the army as it didn't seem to be necessary. Shame really as the "Cradle of Rome" series of games give you so much more than just match 3 challenges, and I expected more from this as it seemed so similar in description.

I love Match 3 games and was delighted to see a new one appear... the first few levels were very very easy, and I exceeded the totals by far.... then it got stupidly frustrating very quickly, with half the board locked up with frozen elements and locked eggs, meaning unless you had the "magic" stored up already, there was no way of completing the level. I was hoping for some sort of storyline, but it was just the same thing over and over again. I gave up after 30 mins (this review is based on free hour demo).

Not exactly sure why, but this game was just "ok" for me... I found it a little dull, and the collectibles were far too obvious.
It just didn't tick the boxes for me to want to keep on playing. I didn't find it engaging, and the visuals weren't as good as a lot of the other CE's out there at the moment...

I only played 7 minutes of the demo hour and gave up. There are different HOP scenes, but very simplistic graphics. There is an attempt at a storyline, but I ended up skipping wherever possible. It was very easy, and not challenging... It might be ok as a kid's level game, but it wasn't for me....

It does look stunning, I agree. But there are way too many talking sections when you just want to get on with the game. No achievements or extra bonuses in the Collectors Edition, apart from collecting random Furbies. You have to wait for the interactive map to recharge, and it doesn't actually tell you the areas where there is something to do at that moment. It was a pleasant enough game, and I only played the demo, but won't be bothering to buy the whole game....
A long-forgotten artifact has just resurfaced, and the race to claim it will cause a devastating war. The only thing strong enough to stop it is one woman’s promise to the man she loves.
Only got 25 mins through the free trial. Gameplay was clunky, and a bit slow. Didn't really engage with the storyline. There are better and more involving games out there. Graphics and HO scenes were not great quality. It looked cheap.

Based on the trial version, I gave up after 20 minutes. Simplistic and unchallenging, with next to no coherent storyline... Find an object, use it immediately. I found the narrator annoying, and the graphics flat and boring.

I attempted this game for ten minutes only... very little storyline, bad HOS and the one different puzzle I attempted was impossible, as the instructions are so poor... I also had to turn the sound off as the sound whenever you found an object was really irritating.
