I deleted the sample after just ten minutes. I found it confusing and had no idea what was going on. I am NOT an idiot. But I do play these games to destress after work, and it was just too overwhelming for my frazzled brain to cope with.
Later I read the positive reviews, and they swayed me to try again. And sooooo GLAD I did.
I absolutely LOVED the option to zoom with the mouse. And really enjoyed the game.
Congratulations to the developers for a champion effort.....
My only criticism is the hints. I don’t need the same reminders every 30 seconds (probably wasn’t that often; but started to feel like it).
I love all these types of mystery adventure theme games, then tickle my sense of wonder. A bit Indiana Jones. Graphics are gorgeous and sound very good. Wish there was more to the sky traveling before reaching the ground, as that was unusual. I purchased it immediately upon finishing the trial. I hope for more adventure going forwards.

Excellent Game. Purchased after the first ten minutes of sample play. Great visuals and sound. Brilliant storyline. Genuinely quite creepy and spooky. Actually felt on edge!! Puzzles a bit easy so far, but so invested in the storyline, that doesn't matter. Good hidden objects and not too many so far. Not heard of the series before, so will check out the others now.....One of the best games I have played in 2021.
I have only played the trial version, and think I will purchase the full game.
The hidden objects were slightly different to a standard game, which was an interesting and enjoyable to play.
Had to skip one of the first puzzles, as too hard for me to figure out. I am utterly exhausted from work today, so that may have had an impact.....either that or I am just a bit dim!
However, the rest were a good challenge and easier.
My only complaint, is how exceeding slow it was to change cut scenes. It didn't flow like previous MCF games. But I am not sure if that is the game itself, or something wrong with my computer.
A bit creepy in parts, and probably playing just before bed was a mistake!
But overall, I enjoyed all the different aspects played in the trial.

I absolutely loved this game. It had a nice balance of hidden objects and puzzles and logical thinking. Plus learned little facts along the way about London. Despite living in London for several years, there were some things I was unaware of. Googled afterwards and found out they were indeed true. Like Marble Arch being used as a small police station. Really enjoyed the game to purchase when trial was up.
I found this game repetitive and boring at first in the demo. Was going to delete soon after downloading. But I persevered. So GLAD I did. I got totally hooked, and brought both games in quick succession. Games lasted a long time. And had enough variety to hold my interest. LOVED IT.
Purchased in 2011. Still playing in 2021. Not as challenging as the original (which I also purchased in 2011 and have never reached the end of - still a work in progress!) But still play this every few months and still love it
I was looking through older games on BFG and found this. I enjoyed it so much, I brought it before the demo had even finished. Very creepy. Kept expecting a werewolf to pounce any second. Realized who the creature was early on (I read a lot of Agatha Christie and saw the pattern) but the journey to reach the final was still nail biting. LOVED IT. Pity there was only one made
