I really like the Virtual Villagers series, and this is a great addition but it is slower moving.
As usual, the villagers have quests to finish and jobs to do. Lava stones are the currency and you earn them by doing tasks. Near the end of Chapter 1 it is very slow, it takes days to craft an item unless you have a lot of lava stones.
If we were given more opportunities to earn the lava stones, it would make for a better game.
I would like to give this game 5 stars, but it has some bugs that need to be worked out, mostly in graphics with tutorial windows that don't close when they should.
Also, this is a very difficult game. I have been replaying levels to get stars to upgrade weapons and it takes a while to accumulate them. I like a good challenge, so I don't mind, but it can also be frustrating.
I played for about 30 minutes and was unimpressed. There was a good selection of games, but nothing new and the graphics were clunky. The text at the top was distracting. All in all I didn't like the game.

I don't usually pan games, and I love TM games, but this was boring and I am deleting after 21 minutes of playing the trial. There is no stacking of tasks, so lots of clicking. The tasks were pretty standard - collect wheat, make flour, etc...
