I really hate the story line - fairies, babies and elves. Really aimed at a 10yo girl. It is a real turn off to an adult woman (such stereotypical ideas of women - so childish they love babies and fairies.....) and all males I would imagine.
There is some challenge insofar as some timed tasks are a tad difficult. Others are very easy. These days it is had to find a game with any real challenge as people whinge if they can't get 5 stars straight away. But such easy games are boring.
And the game does not always save. It says it does if you exit through the lobby but this is not always so. At least for me anyway, so this is hit or miss. Then you have to repeat a level just to get back to where you were - and let's face it, the levels are quite tedious.
I like the concept of timed tasks and several of them at that on any level, but it has not been executed well.
I bought the game hoping it would become more challenging but unfortunately like most modern games it is very easy all the time. Every level starts with loads of resources so doesn't matter what you build or when , it'll all be right. You can make some mistakes and still get 3 stars on the apparently hard level. And there is no strategy as one is led through the necessary steps. You can't make a mistake at the store as items become unavailable when you have enough. Not sure why the devs cannot make seriously challenging games for those who like them. There is no fun in a game where you get 3 stars on the first attempt. Make strategy games so you have think!. For those who don't like that kind of game and enjoy games which are a bit easier to follow, on the easy levels use hint buttons, or options to get more resources every 30 secs or something. Rather than ue the timer as the only way to make it harder or not, use differnet ways to crete challenging or easy levels - that way catering for different tastes. But why must every game be made so simple? As to the bonus levels - well it's impossible not to get 3 stars. I wondered if there is a bug there so that there is no hard level.
I like the fact that this game presents a decent challenge. There is a right way to complete it - and when you do you will get the 3 gold stars with reasonable time to spare - but it can be jolly difficult working that out. Which is good - no fun in getting a game out first or second time. I still have only 31 of the 36 levels with 3 stars and that's in normal mode. Wish there were more games with this level of challenge.
Very easy game. No strategy required. The caches are in full view. Very slow to remove obstacles. So so disappointing. Much prefer earlier versions which were actually challenging. Yet another developer which has dumbed down the game. Where have all the decent games gone?
I agree with some other reviewers. Finally a game where you have to work at it to get 3 stars. Too many recent games are easy and it's no challenge to get all the stars. Not so here. You certainly have to try a few different strategies. I found the super-busy screens a bit difficult to start with, and it took a few levels to realise who did what (never having played on of these before), but you soon get used to that. In my opinion well worth the money.
Very slow and very boring. Not difficult - just long

I like the concept of this game the 3d affect, ad it's focus that should be about strategy. I nearly didn't buy it after levels 1,2 and 3 which took no time at all. But I read the reviews and they said it got better after that. But really it is dead simple. You can't upgrade buildings. They are super slow at producing goods. The battles where you send just one soldier are silly and it takes forever to get these men extra stronger weapons. There's no real strategy. There could be, but there isn't. It is so dreary. Shame.
I agree with others that although the graphics are good it is too easy to get the 3 stars even on hard. It's rare to find a game these days with any challenge.
I like this series much mire than others simply because there is some challenge to it. You get to decide which buildings to build in which order (ie which are the most important), whether you even need to or not; which to upgrade (again you may not need to) etc. It makes it far more interesting than most TM games where the order is obvious - because you only have one choice. It's till relatively easy to get 3 stars on hard level although a few levels take 3 or 4 tries, but its loads better then the other offerings around which do not challenge at all.
These games are so easy. It's rare you can't do it first time round and you'll always get it on the 2nd time. It's not as if you have options and make tactical decisions about which to build first, which need upgrading (and which don't). The TM games from 10 years ago had much better challenge 0- but then everyone whinged because people like tings easy these days. It's a pity the games are made to be really challenging - and then an untimed option for the people who don't like the "time" in Time management" games.
