This game had the best voice overs I think I have heard/seen in an HOG game. I loved the fact that you could pick what you wanted to say. Very fun to play. The only thing I did not like was the tedious puzzles; they were long and complicated.

This was a fun HOG. Lots of hidden objects and not so much puzzles which I prefer. However, the puzzles were easy. The plot however, was very predictable, but this was still a good game to play.

The people that made this game, no offence, must not speak a lick of English or have any concept of the English language. The voice overs are terrible. Misspelled words and no one talks like they have the characters talking. Do not get me started on the strategy guide, instead of reading left to right, it reads right to left and sometimes not even that. There is picture frames and sometimes it is not in any sort of order. Keeps you on your toes though, guessing what comes next.
I don't recommend this game.

I love the Nightmares from the Deep series. This one does not disappoint. I believe this one is better than the 2nd one. More dead talking pirates, it's a hoot! Also more hidden objects because I personally like hidden objects more than puzzles.

Finally a game with more HOS and HOP's than puzzles. Sorry, I like HOS and HOP's better. The puzzles were not bad, they were pretty easy. This game had a science fiction feel to it. I am glad it was different than murder mysteries and ghost stuff all the time. Nice graphics. However, the game was too short and the story line was predictable.

This game is awesome. I loved all the different HOS's and HOP's, it really broke up the monotony of just finding things. Great graphics. The only thing is I wish it was longer and in some cases the story line not so predictable. I really had a fun time playing this game.
The Emperor’s son has a mysterious illness. As legendary healer Daiyu, you’re called to the palace to save him, but you end up having to save yourself!
This game is one of the best HOS games I have played in awhile. Great graphics, good voice overs, and the right balance between HOS and puzzles.
I recommend this game!

Although this game is fun and addicting at times, some of the answers are completely wrong and it is very frustrating. Don't let your kids try and learn from this game. You just have to play it for entertainment value only. Also, I would not let your kids play this game because there was some disturbing questions making references to female anatomy that I found completely inappropriate. Not sure if Big Fish Games screens games before they put them out for sale..
I like the Surface series. This one was a good sequel. A good balance of HOS and puzzles. A good story line. The only thing I had a problem with was the voice overs; they did not match so it was like watching an old Japanese film.

It is about time they put out another one of these. This is a great next installment of Golden Trails. I have always liked these. This was the most challenging of all three of them. I have always liked the story lines in these and this one did not disappoint. Great colorful scenes and lots of hidden objects.
