This game is just as bad as all the others by this developer. It's the same old rehash, just with different cartoonish animations and excruciatingly bad voiceovers. I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy more than one of these, as it's the same thing over and over.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the clear it games so got this one without trying first. This one has some good powerups. It very quickly gets to be just hard rather than thought-provoking. I almost never can't finish a game, but this one was a hard slog where there weren't moves to be had. It just wasn't fun after a while so I've deleted it.
I don't recommend this game.

I knew I'd like this game when the half hour was up and I hadn't made it through the first two scenes. We don't get very many FROG games now, even though they're an enjoyable alternative to the same old HOGs. I found myself not using the hint or skip buttons nearly as much as usual since I wanted to figure these out on my own. My only complaint is the picture quality is not the slick artistry that we're used to seeing now. To me, Mr Darcy looks more like a werewolf than Colin Firth or Tom Cruise. Still, having just finished the main part of the game in about 4 hours (with one strategy guide cheat), I'm happy to have gotten this game as part of a BOGO with TellTale's new game.
I recommend this game!

As the others have said, this game really makes you think, but it feels really good when you get a confusing level on the first try. You have to read the clues very closely because the devil's in the details, and often you have to manipulate something before you can come up with the code to get out. The only problem I had is that I couldn't move quickly enough in some levels to be able to get the task accomplished without my hand getting sore enough to have to quit. Other than that, it's an excellent puzzle game.
I recommend this game!

I have never purchased a collector's edition match-3, reserving my money for the HO/adventure genre because M3s are pretty much same-old, same-old. Not here. This is M3, puzzle, HO, and adventure with a good storyline all in one. Like another reviewer I was surprised when the hour was gone so quickly and couldn't wait to purchase since 40 extra collector levels of this fun is worth the cost (less on sale, yay). Aside from a couple hour break, I played from noon until 2am, ignoring my midnight reminder to go to bed lol. I'm not sure how much time is left in the main game but I'm guessing I'm halfway through and that's playing on easy (which isn't all that easy). Love this game and hope it doesn't take another 10 years for a sequel.
I recommend this game!

After 7 iterations of basically the same game, you'd think it would be same old, same old. Definitely not here! It's got the same basic (lack of) storyline - the house is haunted and you have to get coins to buy amulets to fix it. What's different this time is that they've really upped the challenge by setting the levels up in a way that makes you think before solving it, not just automatically matching 3 and eventually getting it done. There's a replay button that pops up if you've done something that makes it harder or impossible to solve the level, but you can keep playing and may be able to work it out. The board layouts are so much different and more interesting than the previous games, and you will have to use power ups to get to some of the parts of the board. There's a new minigame using a beetle to push diamonds into marked squares without getting him stuck. Finally, there are multiple difficulty options. You can choose a standard or difficult match-3 and separately choose relaxed, limited time, or limited moves. This is a much better game than the past ones, but has enough similarities so that if you liked the old ones, you'll love this one.
I recommend this game!

As others have said, this game doesn't require much skill and at the end of each level you get lots of powerups to give you points without working for it. Sometimes you just need something to play that doesn't take a lot of thinking. My biggest complaint about this game is that there are no instructions that you can refer back to later. You get the info the first time you're able to create a certain combo to get a powerup. Then later on, you're told you need "5 ghost-bo" to complete the level, but if you can't remember how you got it you're out of luck. In relaxed mode you can play a level indefinitely just trying to figure out what you need to fet to complete it.
I don't recommend this game.

This Hiddenverse is considerably different from the others. The most obvious change is that there's a real storyline, and you have to do different things to advance and open new areas. They've even added a few twists in the matching objects levels. All in all a much better game than before, and I enjoyed all of them to this point even though they were repeating the basic pattern. The one place that falls short is in the translation to English. This isn't simply a difference between British and American words. It seems to have been translated by computer and lots of words don't make sense. A cork or bottle stopper is called "bark", and autopsy results are referred to as an "experience". Please, developers, take a little extra time and make sure it makes sense in another language. Ask beta testers to fix your dialogue, it will be worth it for those who want to understand what you're trying to say and may not buy if they get too annoyed.
I recommend this game!

I loved this game and its predecessors, and this is by far the best of the bunch. You really have to think about what you're doing and as you play new challenges come along. The problem is that the boss levels can't be bypassed, and by level 90 they become impossible to pass. That means I've lost 1/3 of my game, since no matter how long I play it or how many times, I can't move forward. If you're willing to be limited in how far you play, this is an excellent game.
I recommend this game!

Like many, many players, I have been hooked on ART even though we knew that it was no longer being updated. There was always something new to do, daily quests, challenges for the times of year, and gifting friends as well as completing different levels within the cities and AES museum areas. Now, that appears to be gone since we can no longer get into any of the necessary areas to complete quests or gift friends. No explanation why, but now the only parts of the game that work are HOS and minigames, which has taken all the interest away. It appears that not only is this not being supported, it's not even being given any server space by BFG. No internet connection means no worthwhile gameplay. At least we would have appreciated knowing that this was going to happen. RIP, ART.
I don't recommend this game.
