Liked it a lot but for the glitch and the unskippable minigames

Like so many others I had to give up when entering a glitch I could not make go away. At one point you have to shoot spiders, after that you need to pull a lever to go forward but the lever was hidden by beams. Obviously they should have slidden down after shooting the spiders, they did not. Also I hate minigames that have to be done in limited time. For instance, it took me ages to shoot the frogs as the meter refills if you do not hit them fast enough and with the refilled meter you have to start from scratch. I am too slow for that and see no thrill, just stresses me. Very annoying when you are past the trial, bought the game and those minigames pop up out of nowhere. On the plus side, I alway like games like those, where I have to think about the next steps and collect logical items rather than to dig in a pile of junk for random things which I don`t really need in the gameplay. I also enjoy not saving the world every once in a while but have a case on a smaller scale, like finding a mouse. So: The game is great, a lot of fun and the storyline is very good. Without the glitches and a with a skip button it would be perfect (for me).

Based on 2-3 hours in the game: Bought it without even trying it which is very unusual for me. I do not regret it. Just as good as the other ones (have all of them). Great storyline and I love it that we play with a heroine this time.
I liked the storyline, I liked the minigame on the ship a LOT (combining sea creatures, they merge into another creature) but got stuck on the bridge glitch. So, although this is a 4 star game I had to put it on a one star. Fix the glitch and I fix my rating!
I was excited fot a new kind of TM game. I really wanted to like it. But this one is too complex for me to just relax and have fun. Alas, I would have taken the effort to learn the logic of the game if the charcters were good and the storyline intriguing. The latter might be, but: A professional female police investigator with corset and jackboots while her colleagues wear professional outfits and run much faster than her. Seriously??? This alone annoys me so much I do not want to even start making an effort to understand the complicated rules of the game. Dah.
A must buy for me within the 1st half 'n hour in the game. It is witty, funny, makes me think and I just like the style of it. If you are a fan of the Tiny Bang story, The inner world, Fire, Leaves or suchlike, try it out.
The games are rare, when the story makes sense front to end (especially the ending). This is one of those. The puzzles are challenging and fun. The English translation is superb. I cannot judge the sound quality as I always play without sound. I highly recommend the game.
This game reminded me about the Tiny Bang story (which I think is a great game, too), but the story line in The Inner World is much better than in TBS. This is not a HOG. You have to solve problems in order to proceed with the story. The game solving is challenging and I had to use the hints more than once but not to an extend that made me feel frustrated. The characters are unique and lovable, each one of them (of course except the villain). The dialogues are fun with a great sense of humor and the voice overs are very pleasant and done quite well. This game was worth every cent and I recommend it for everyone who wants to be challenged by thinking out of the box. I never had more fun to save the world than with this game.
I recommend this game!

Pigillionaire
As a Piggybank your goal is to become rich, of course, and to do so you will travel around the world in a balloon gathering gems.
I have to agree to the other 2 raters: The pig is cute, but the lines that are to be destroyed by the match 3 are already kind of low when the game starts and every time when I caught something "special", the pig stood still. I could not get over level 1 as well.
I don't recommend this game.

Margrave: The Blacksmith's Daughter
Embark on a thrilling rescue mission in the Town of the Cyclops!
Having played "Margrave, the severed heart" a long time ago (the trial) and remembering it not being that great, I was nicely surprised by this one. The story begins as a same-old same-old, since you have to rescue a beloved (boyfriend, in this case). But it has a few unsuspected and good twists on it and the storyline does more focus on the islands history and inhabitants than on the boyfriend. I liked a lot that the persons in the game were not characterized in black and white but more like normal people. Voice over was good although I would have liked to have the choice of interrupting it. I usually read much faster than the voice over speaks and get bored when I have to wait for the voice to catch up. But that is a minor thing. Graphics is beautiful and interesting (who does not like to peak in other peoples lives, even imaginary ones?) and the music was not annoying either. Mini games are somewhat unusual and just challenging enough for a relaxing game play. HOS are in the middle range too. I liked the map as well, since I tend to run around in games without orientation. I would have preferred a map where you can "jump" on locations instead of just seeing where you are, but since the graphics was really nice, it did not bother me too much. All in all a good deal and fun to play.
I recommend this game!

Wonderful creatures, not a "dark" game but not boring
Story is very good. I cannot say anything about the music, since I never listen. The Characters are just beautiful, there is no creepy or disgusting stuff laying around in the HOG's (why do so many HOG have to include creepy dolls, sculls and blood? It seems to be a standard which gets boring). Mini Games are on the easy side. I like the possibility to switch between HOG's and match 3's. There is a map which gives you a hint on which location there are tasks, if you do not want to take the HINT button. Also you can choose between difficulty levels or even create your own! (Rare for not being a collector's edition) The characters and landscape are a feast for the eyes. I just enjoy sitting there and taking all in. Would recommend that game to everybody above the age of 6 (after all, there IS a witch involved!), but I must say, I haven't finished the game so far.
