This is one of the best Redemption Cemetery games I have played in a long time. I bought the CE and don't regret it.
If, like me, you don't much care for the puzzles in HOGs, especially if they are on the difficult side, then you will be happy to know that this game is a "puzzle heaven". I loved them all, especially because they were so very easy (and fun) to do.
I also enjoyed playing the hidden object scenes, but always prefer the little zoom-in ones. Can't get enough of those.
The collectables were Skulls, with which you can transform the entrance to the fairground. They were the reason I bought the CE, although I would have preferred if the skulls weren't morphing, but just hidden in the scenes.

I like this game. It's a little different from other same old same old HOGs I have encountered over the last couple of years. For one thing, it has more than one or two colour schemes. For me, the colours are important, and practically all HOGs these days consist mostly of one or two colours in dark shades. For another I liked the characters, graphics, and animations. I also liked the hidden object scenes - nicely done and a little different.
All in all I give it 4.5 stars, because I liked this game so much more than any other HOG I have come across recently.

I am a big fan of the "one higher or one lower" type of Solitaire games, which this one is. I love the first "Solitaire Detective: Framed" game, and love this one even more.
I love the size of the cards (cards on some games are too small for me), and I love the choice of back and face cards. I also love the many new items that block the cards. Not much more to say, except "I love this game". :)

This puzzle game is similar to games like "The Silent Age", and I like this type of game.
While playing the demo, I didn't find it difficult to advance in the game. You have to click on things and on your items in the inventory to see what works. For example, when you want to use the key on a door, you first have to click on the key so it sticks out and is activated. Then you click on the door to see if it's the right door for the key. If not, click on the key again to push it back.
If you get stuck, there is a Question Mark at the top right-hand corner. Click on it, and all items that can be used either now or a little later light up in yellow while the question mark's colour changes.
For me this was an easy enough game, and I recommend it for gamers who like this kind of game.

This is not a Hidden Object game as we know it, but a Point&Click/Adventure game, and should be added to the "Point&Click" category.
However, in order to advance in the game, there are hidden objects to be found, and puzzles to be solved, and those parts are really fun !!
This game, which is by Artifex Mundi and has already been out for 7 months, is a lovely game, and you need to put your thinking cap on to be able to get through each part.
The puzzles can be skipped, but so far I have not come across any difficult ones - thank goodness.
There is a Hint button, without which I would have been stuck many times, and takes only 30 seconds to refill.
Because the only extras are Music, Wallpaper, Artbook, and such, but there is no Bonus game neither is there a SG, I will wait for the SE to come out before I buy the game.

The game started out looking very promising, but after the demo it went downhill. It got so tedious that I stopped playing the game before the end. I have played games before where people are sucked into cards and such, and taken to other places from where I had to rescue them. I thought this would be one of those games, but it turned out not to be the case. Instead it was just the same basic type of game I have already played many hundreds of times.

I love Solitaire games, especially the "one higher or one lower" ones, so I couldn't wait to try this one.
Alas, the game felt clunky, kind of heavy-handed, and the cards could have been a little larger. I also didn't care for the multitude of images on the right - those where the jokers go into. I prefer a simple set-up where the jokers go into one slot at the bottom right. But I could have lived with all that, if it wasn't for the visible turn-over of the cards. Each time a card turned over, either from the hand or the deck, it was like watching a page of a book turn over, and my eyes just couldn't get used to that much animation. So it's a no-buy for me.

I am glad to see a game that has a colour scheme that consists of more than the usual blue shades I see in most HOGs these days. I love the story, graphics, and gameplay, as well as the puzzles which are on the easy side, and which I prefer.
Unlike some others, I do prefer the game to be on the short side. I rather finish a game wanting more than finish it and say "at last it's over".
I also love those little zoom-in hidden object scenes, and prefer them to the large ones.
All in all a very well done game, and I highly recommend it.

I love this type of Solitaire game, and this is one of the best I have played so far. Excellent graphics, excellent sound effects, excellent gameplay. Unique cards, like the torch/flame combo to use on the spider. And on top of all that excellence, we get to rebuild different landscapes. :)

I used to buy every Redemption Cemetery game, but haven't done so the last few times, because I didn't much care for them anymore. However, I do like this game as far as the demo went. I like the morphing objects and collectables (with which you can do something), and I did like the first story, and am looking forward to continue with the next two stories.
