I think this is a great game for those people who like to exercise their grey cells. It's not for the casual gamer who just wants to escape for a bit and have some fun. There is quite a lot of traveling and random clicking, as sometimes I don't know what the heck to do.
There is a little hint system, but sometimes the hint leaves me still looking. I have made it to Task 8 so far, and I need to find a pirate to get some gold. Where the pirate is, I cannot tell you. I will keep traveling and clicking, and something will pop up eventually, I hope.
I do like this one better than the first one. The window is bigger and so therefore things are easier to see. Also, there is an option to skip puzzles. I skipped one in this game because I couldn't get a hang of the controls (asteroid zapping), but am completely stuck in the first game. I cannot get those slider puzzles, no matter how hard I try, they frustrate me to no end. So, I am stuck, and had to uninstall as there was no option to skip it.
This is a good game, but it's not easy, and you should expect some frustration. Hint ... save often :-)
I recommend this game!
