Just my opinion, however. The thing that irks me the most about it is there's a puzzle after EVERY SINGLE HO SCENE. I mean, seriously, couldn't they have added a puzzle like maybe after every 2 or 3??? It's very tiresome and most of them - no, all of them - are repeated constantly, so I've been skipping them all. It's not because they're too hard; I'm just sick of them being thrown in my face after every HO hunt.
The scenes are nice, although a little repetitive. This game could definitely do with some variety.
All in all, not bad. I'll recommend it for a rainy day or to pass some time, but I can only play about 10-15 minutes of it, then I have to quit again because it becomes very redundant and the constant puzzles are very irritating.
I liked the 2nd one better, it was a little more organized than this one. The game is ok for a rainy day if you want something to do that doesn't take much thought, but I really don't get having to find oars and komodo dragons inside a hospital room. I was a little disappointed in the lack of creativity with the objects you have to find. It's as though they got lazy and decided to throw in whatever object they could think of just to add to the list. "Oh, hey, we need to add more items! Let's stick dinosaurs and centipedes in there so we don't have to use our brains to come up with stuff that should REALLY be inside of a hospital!"
That's the way it looks to me.
It's an ok game, I've played worse. But let's try and keep the objects relevant to the story line, shall we? It takes away from the feel and atmosphere of the game and makes it all seem so fake.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the first game and couldn't wait for this one to come out. The graphics are nice and I especially love the 'downhome' feel of this game. Such a nice change of pace from the 'horror' type games that seem to be coming out of the woodwork in droves. Nice, relaxing game.
I did, however, have the same problem that rosekaufmann mentioned about the one puzzle game; couldn't pick stuff up and move it around freely. Thankfully, though, it's a game you can eventually skip, so there was no problem there. Really enjoying this one.
This was one of my first HO games, along with the first Margrave Manor, that to this day I still play just to get back to that atmosphere and pretty much reliving memories of my first games from BigFish. You just don't find them like this anymore, with the new HO games now on this crazy bandwagon of frustrating mini games, puzzles and use of objects 'in the world'. Not that there's anything wrong with those games, but it's becoming an epidemic of sorts and that's all you can find these days. For months now I've been on the search for 'new' classic HO games and I've got game credits built up that I haven't used because there's just nothing interesting enough to use them on. I eventually give up the search and go back to playing my old favorites. Maybe I'm set in my ways, but honestly, they just don't make 'em like they used to.
I recommend this game!

One in particular who said that the order bubbles, once you click on a customer to see what they want, don't stay above their heads, they disappear. So like that reviewer said, you either have to memorize what they ordered or go back and click on them again, which was a pain in the behind and wasted time. Also, hello, where is the server??? Like in other foodie TM games, there's always a server/waitress present but there wasn't one in this one, which put me off a little bit. Basically you don't feel like you're controlling an actual employee to serve the customers, you instead feel like it's just you against the computer, mindlessly clicking all over the place to complete the tasks. There's no actual waitress in this one, not one person behind the counter. And that makes me feel more like I'm playing an arcade game than a personable "your waitress is present and there to serve you" game, as in the Diner Dash and Delicious games.
I don't recommend this game.

I am completely enjoying this game. Great plots/storylines and it's not just HO, but a little bit of 'interacting with the world' as well. I so wish they'd come out with a sequel!
Especially Peggy's when she said it's a game about "a self absorbed, spoiled woman feeling sorry for herself." Good grief! If I could I would have smacked the woman in the story and told her to snap out of it and grow a backbone. I know it's only a game (a depressing one at that), but seriously, I could only take so much of her whining and complaining that just by attempting to cook her husband a cake, she was trying to "be someone she's not." She must have said that at least three times during that particular segment. I'll say this, the "arrrrrrrgggghhh" factor for this game is high and less than halfway through the demo I was like okay, enough, I can't take anymore.
... since the other reviews were so nice, but although I really liked this game's atmosphere and graphics, you can't skip the puzzles and that right there is a killer for me. I'll recommend it simply because it's a nice HO game, but if you don't like not having the option to skip the puzzles/minigames, you may not enjoy this one. Being able to skip puzzles is important to me, especially when you're on the clock.
I recommend this game!

I'm a fan of the first Burger Bustle and was among the people who got to try the test version of this one and have been anxiously awaiting this game's release ever since. The voices don't bother me at all. They're not quiet as funny as the first game, however. My favorite character in the first game was the 'John Wayne' guy who would come in and say, "I'm hungry and I need a horseburger, haw haw," and "Where's the booze?" Cracked me up every time. These aren't quite as funny, but they don't annoy me in the least. One female character sounds like me when she says, "How many carbs?" LOL
I recommend this game!
