it is amazing to me how this series just grows, and the technique improves, and the puzzles become more creative, and the characters...
i got so wrapped up in this one, that i was up until 5:30am playing and although i could hardly keep my eyes open at that point... i just wanted to keep going! usually i let a ND game stretch out a few days... but this one just grabbed a hold of me and wouldn't let go... there was always just one more person to talk to, just one more puzzle to unravel, just one more thing to find...
and there were definitely moments where i felt such empathy for nancy... in her memory flashbacks, one can see how torn her mother was and just how much she truly loved nancy... in recovered notes, one can feel the tension kate must have been under... and that melody she played is simply haunting - i can hear it even now...
truly an amazing piece of work from the team at her interactive! makes me glad to "dare to play"
I recommend this game!

really enjoyed the first three installments and this one is even better - lots of color!
when solving a puzzle, if you aren't sure where to place one color, you can click on the big color blob to the right and it changes it to the next color in the puzzle... just like chroma allows - i haven't run into any push pins and i hope don't. either! :P
i play these puzzles over and over... they are my new staples when just hanging out watching tv, filling a little time here and there, and the late night i don't know what i wanna do and i don't quite feel like going to bed...
only now, they are super pretty! ^_^
I recommend this game!

i found this particular match3 to be tedious and annoying.
The tutorial kept coming up so I disabled it, but then I started collecting "power ups" and evidently info on those is part of the tutorial - all or nothing, right? So I just did what I do best, wing it... try it to see what it does... and found that I didn't really need any extra info at all.
The boards are relatively small and reminiscent of Jewel Quest. There are wooden boxes to bust and 'tumbleweeds' to toss, chained pieces to release and artifact pieces to move off the bottom of the board. The graphics are up to par, the music is okay, but you have to wait for all the matches to clear and the board to settle down before you can click on the next match - not great for overactive players like me who like to click, click, click the pieces away.
The cut scenes were nicely done and the narration was wonderful, but in all - I simply did not enjoy this game.
I don't recommend this game.

this game is actually put together fairly well, the graphics are top notch - especially when switching between day and night - and the music/sound is perfect. again, it's based on energy, so your play time is limited to what you can achieve in about four scenes. you can earn or be gifted energy by inviting and accepting neighbors and then visiting them to play "blitz" rounds. this will also allow you to earn a bit of money and experience 'off the books' so to speak. ;)
there are some things i would like to see changed to raise my appreciation: being able to access my neighbor list instead having to go home every time; shorter loading times between scenes, the ability to click or hover to discover 'what' a neighbor has in their menagerie.
been playing for four days and have really enjoyed it overall, though.

lots of fun to be had with this one! harnessing the elements is just one piece of this building puzzle with cute graphics and whimsical music! definitely worth a try!
I recommend this game!

the graphics quality in this game is just what you would expect from blue tea... the soundtrack is also top-notch with great voice-overs... the storyline is one gamers should have expected to see at some point with the dark parables and haunted legends series... and it could have been a must-have so easily...
however, the puzzles are simply too simple, the hidden object scenes, too, and in all the only thing that gave the game length were the numerous cut-scenes one encountered every few minutes...
in the end, i simply wasn't looking for a cartoon to distract me for a few moments - i was looking for a superb game offering a good challenge to entertain me for a few hours...
this one wasn't it!
