Match 3 (in general) game that stand out of the crowd. Different rooms within one level that you need to do. Different bonus games and bonuses. Even added different types of difficulty.
As straight forward as they come. I like match 3 games, I really do, but this was just.. boring to be honest.
Pros: There are a few bonuses that recharge instead of being used one by one and the decorations for your house is kinda cute. You can also choose between timed and relaxed play.
Cons: Boringthat they didn't come up with something different. We all have seen everything before. Multiple times. Especially for a Halloween game that is mainly fitting once a year should have something to really reel you in and love the game. The level of challenge is not very good either. There should have been at least one more lvl of difficulty for more advanced players.
Few games leave me as frustrated within such short amount of time as this one. I liked the graphics and the whole nostalgia trip to the west.
I also liked the fact that you are more free to go which direction you want, not just one way option.
I didn't like LL popping up at all times with tips (and none included on how to shut him up -tho I did figure that out soon)
And the "yea, let's fill the holes in the road" -I'm all in. But where are the stones?? None I can pick up and ordering is blocked. And everything I try I got LL popping telling me we should fill the holes. Gaaah!!!!
He might be faster than his own shadow, but he got nothing onme.
It's really that cute, but short. I played only the demo, and got halfway trough it.
It's 4 continents, each with 12 levels. The gameplay is good. It responds good and chars are faster than most of the other simular games. You'll get achivements for different things, but when the levels are so easy (in the only diffuculty there is) that you get them handed out so easily, I really don't see the point. If you like these games get it, but know it's short and easy.
If you expect a clone of the Emily's delicious series, don't bother. The graphics are very different, the story line not so sugar-sweet and the game build is different. That being said, there are also similarities, but personally I think they remind more of Sally's salon type of games. The minigames are well made, tho not too challenging.
My favorite part is that there are some stories troughout the game. There are one for each doctor, so ..5 in total I think. The stories are both sweeet and sad.
The least favorite thing about game is how short it is!!! Compared to the Delicious series it's really really short. In total of 25 levels or so.
In Delicious: Emily's Home Sweet Home, you need to help the O'Malleys repair their dream house. Can you make it a real home? Hurry up, or it might be condemned!
3 stages of difficulty is a plus, and the bonus objectives + mice catching on every level. On top of that you also got bonus levels you can do if you want and the renovation of the house.
There are far between really good TM games, but this one is definitely a good one. AND it's a collector's edition. What's not to love??
This has to be amongst the harder TM games coming to skill-level. I think I am fairly good in that genre, but there are levels that I have to try a few times before finding the right order to do things.
+The music is fun and nostalgic for the first hour, then becomes annoying. Luckily it also gives you chance to use your own songs from a playlist on the computer. +It's challenging, so you won't finish it without a struggle.
-I miss the opportunity to decide skill-lvl. Beginner, normal, expert -The graphic is kinda basic without much to it, but maybe that was the plan..
