Don't bother. They haven't checked this for functionality in a long time. You can't get a key item for moving forward, right in the beginning of the game.
I am excited to find a bunch of "proper" adventure games on this platform. I'm pretty sick of HOPs. This one is great, I highly recommend it. The only downside is that the ending/epilogue left much to be desired, but oh well.
Honestly I loved this. It was challenging in the right ways. I miss point and click adventures so badly and it's so nice to find one I haven't played that does things right.
Make no mistake, this is HARD. You will at some point need a walkthrough, but thankfully BFG has one. The game is very calm and requires a lot of walking around, and it's old-style dragging the screen; if you've gotten used to recent games, that might become tedious for you, but this is older.
I very much enjoyed it! You will too if you like lots of story, getting to know characters, and poking around.
WARNING: Near the end, you will be getting ready to escape a room. Please save right before you do. There is a game for you to play at the end of this game, and sometimes on trying it, you will get a CTD.
This game was so beautiful and fanciful without being silly. It was extremely relaxing to play, and I highly recommend it for a mood booster. The puzzles have a good range of difficulty, but if you just want to chill in the beauty of the scenes and put objects together, you can skip the puzzles easily.
Fun: This is a fun combination of adventure with a dash of HO, and I liked that. However, much of the game is tedious. The navigation is slow, there are frequent, long, unskippable waits. They use the same "thing to fix" at least twice before you can move onward. It's clear that as the game goes on, they're struggling for ideas.
Story: This game attempts to take an uplifting psychological journey for the player. I admire the theme, but I feel it falls flat. As someone with severe depression, I appreciate someone trying to make a game representative of recovery. It just feels a little empty -- not in the way that would contribute to the title, but empty of meaning that would speak to a person suffering.
Spooky: It's vaguely spooky. There are a lot -- and I mean a lot -- of attempted jump scares. They're not very effective, so they just become annoying. The worst part is that some of them drag on, and you can't click anything or navigate while they're playing, so you just have to sit there and watch until they finish. And yeah, some are surprisingly long! They also try to scare you with your own creaky footsteps (again, just annoying), and for some reason they provide light construction noise as something to make it spooky. No idea what's up with that one.
Like the last one, I really hope you like slider puzzles

I love the plot of this game, and I really enjoyed it, but over and over again I found myself playing a game on my phone while I waited for the "skip puzzle" button to become available.
