I had to find a walkthrough just to get me through the demo. Once I found an instruction guide on what I'm supposed to be doing it became fun, but then the demo ended. I'm tempted to purchase it because I want to know about the story, but I also am not going to waste my money on a strategy game that came out in 2004 that Big Fish is just getting to. If you like a strategy game that gives you very little direction and hints on what you are supposed to be doing, then go for it, if not, don't waste your money.
Once I figured out how to play, I really enjoyed the demo. Some of it was quite challenging, in trying to maneuver the pieces correctly, had my heart beating as I tried to make the two little balls bounce just right. I enjoyed it and found it different than the other type of games on here. I did some research, and this game actually came out in 2014, makes me wonder why it took so long to get on Big Fish. Either way, fun game.
I purchased this collector's edition because I like mindless time management games, there is a relaxation factor that I like. However, this one, was really short and it is not much different than all the other Baking Bustle games. The one thing that really annoys me is there is one trophy I have not figured out how to get. The Sherlock trophy in which you find all the real life cooking hacks. What? There is no explanation of what those are or how to find them, hence, not able to get the trophy. I have played the game twice all the way through. I give up. Most likely, not worth the buy.
I didn't listen to the negative reviews and gave this demo a chance, after all, it's Goosebumps. There is A LOT of story that you can't fast forward or skip and then once the game starts, it doesn't really give you much direction and it's kind of like a choose your own adventure book. The choice you make can either end the game or continue on, which I found fun. Unfortunately that was all that I found fun. You can't seem to end the game when you want to, so it's easier to make a bad choice and end it, if you want to stop playing. It could have been so much better. Not going to buy this one.
This was a fun HOG game. I'm a Californian, so it is nice to see places in California. What I liked about this game is that you can pick which type of HOG you want to do for each scene, scramble, silhouette, riddle, etc. You also have to find special items in the scene. Fun demo and will probably buy.
I love Pride and Prejudice, so was hoping for a good game based of the novel. What I got was a boring hidden object game without any good gameplay. Very boring that I almost gave up half way through the demo. I won't be buying this game.
I look forward to this game every year. Yes, it's a bit of the same stuff but it's still a good, fun little Christmas hidden object game with the cute families that are in all of these games. It's become a yearly Christmas tradition to play this time of year.
I played the demo. I couldn't get into it. I looked forward to the demo ending it, just wasn't fun or interesting. Also hard to understand. Could have been better.
Don't listen to the naysayers. Give it a try for yourself. Because of the negative reviews, I was curious and thought I would give the demo a try. I enjoyed the game. Am thinking of buying it. Yes, some of the words weren't translated well, but that was part of the charm and fun, honestly. Laughing at some of the dialogue. The hidden object and mini games were also enjoyable.
Take on the role of Emyr, probably the realm’s most famous hero. That is, until his career was destroyed by a dreadful wound. Now, Emyr works in the tavern.
I love these type of games. This one has a cute story and some funny adult jokes that might go over kids heads. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of challenge. With a lot of these type of games it is super easy to get gold stars and perfect points on every level, I like a bit more challenge, but overall, cute game. Looking forward to a sequel.
