After a starvation diet of low budget games (with a few exceptions) this year, we have been gifted with this wonderous present courtesy of Elephant games.
Beautiful graphics, great storyline, charming characters, lovely music. What more could you wish for!?
I loved, loved, loved this game, but, unfortunately, it seems to be sliding down the politically correct pole. If this is the case, the developers need to update the name and call it "Happy Holiday Wonderland' because there was little Christmas in it.
The story line was idiotic. This time they win a cruise to the North Pole, which is now littered with shops, people, etc. Since when? And you take a ship instead of a plane?
Christmas is a special time when Christians celebrate the birth of Christ. Casual Arts did a fantastic job in creating this game. It stuck true to values, traditions and the true meaning of the season. Too bad it is changing.
Dark Parables used to be one of the best series out there, but has slid down a hill since Eipix took it over.
The Exiled Prince was beautiful, magical. Tinderbox is dark, drab, brown, boring and way too long. Some of the characters are ridiculous: Rasputin?! Ross Red? What happened to Rose Red? Did she change her gender? Hansel, the mood god? And Snow White has sapphire blue eyes and black hair.
Only Elephant Games could produce such a beautiful Christmas story. The story line, the art work, the music are all exceptional. It also stays true to the real meaning of Christmas. Well done, Elephant Games!
Love this game! Bright. Fun. Enchanting. I play this every year and never tire of it. I wish the creators would make some more
I recommend this game!

I purchased 'Death on the Nile' in 2008 and have never regretted it.
Beautiful artwork, true to the time period in which the mystery is taking place. Some of the furnishing, etc, are absolutely breathtaking. Loved the music. Characters are well drawn, each reflecting their individual personalities. Great story line.
It is an older game, so there is no option of level of difficulty. It's timed. The clues are limited. Don't let this put you off, as I like the untimed HOGs, too. It isn't impossible, so take a crack at it, 'cause you're going to love it!
