I'm such a fan of this series. It's deceptively challenging, but if you play a lot of this type of game, you recognize a pattern for beating each level. This entry into the Rescue Team series throws that system for a loop, tossing in many more complicated scenarios than previous games. I love these new additions and appreciate the developer's commitment to evolving the series. Recommend!
I'm a fan of all the Rescue Team games. Where many time management games start to feel repetitive and the game play formulaic, I find these games always manage to find ways to increase the challenges so each new entry feels fresh and different. I like difficult time management games and while I wouldn't describe this as particularly hard, it's challenging enough that I have to play probably a third of the levels over to get three stars. I do feel that the simple graphics would turn off some people finding the game for the first time, but the game play quality is high and that's the most important thing.
I feel like these Rescue Team games kind of sabotage themselves with the poor graphics (not unbearable, just not equal to what we're seeing in other games). The look of the game gives the impression that it won't provide ample challenge or innovation, but I really think this one does, even more so than earlier entries. I've played way too many time management games and normally find it easy to get three stars on most levels my first time through, but I had to replay about 60% of this game to get three stars, and I appreciated the challenge. The levels have a good variety of obstacles and issues, and I like the fact that not every amenity was available on every level, preventing you from being able to use the same strategy each time and forcing you to come up with a new plan of attack. Overall, this is a fun, challenging game that's well worth the price of admission.
