I bought this game without sampling the trial because I expected to enjoy it based on my previous experience with all the other Big City Adventure games. This one is awful, so much so that I deleted it about half way through. Waste of time and $.
Loved this SE! Better than the usual. Puzzles were challenging but not too. Long enough to enjoy, but not bore. Appreciated the story line - no vampires, werewolves, monsters, occult, storybook characters. Great storyline, Lots of scenes to explore. Beautiful graphics, visuals.
I recommend this game!

Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes
Restore the threads of Fate, before they cause a disaster!
I was so bored & hated the storyline so much that I didn't even finish the game. This hasn't happened very often in the MANY years I've been a Big Fish game club member. I've come to resent all the dark, satanic & occult references & story lines. Where's the fun?
I don't recommend this game.

What a breath of fresh air! Loved the story line! Interesting & amusing characters, fabulous scenes, beautifully done graphics, good puzzles, great music! Wish the developers would make many more like this! So-o-o tired & bored by the same old vampire, fairy tale, medieval, & sci fi themed HO & adventure games. It's gotten to the point that they're all so predictable. This game was wonderful! Wish I had bought the CE version instead (and may still do so, just so I can experience the bonus chapter)!
I recommend this game!

A clever, refreshing, enjoyable story line & game! (So-o-o tired of the others with the same old predictable story lines repeated time and time again.) Thank you for this one!! Please make more!

The story's setting attracted me to purchase the game (LOVE Italy) but the story line & game play turned out to be boring. I was really disappointed in this Eipix game. Their "Final Cut" series were some of my all time favorites but this one is a dud in my opinion.
I don't recommend this game.

Have only felt compelled to write 1 review before. This game deserves lots of kudos. LOVED the story line (I'm so tired of vampire, werewolf, & fairy tale stories), visuals and graphics, different settings to explore, etc, etc etc. Wish there were many more like this!
I recommend this game!

The more challenging, the better! I'm tired of games that are all the same - so easy that I can finish them quickly and therefore not worth the cost, in my opinion. This game was a very pleasant surprise - lots to see and do, challenging puzzles, twists and turns. GREAT graphics. Actually, I found the scenes easy to navigate with the "puppet" as the guide. Did I need to use help? You bet! But I still loved the game and would definitely buy more like this (please offer more like this one!). I found it well worth the $ I spent!
