I enjoy these games for casual down time. I also had trouble getting the game to download. It would not show up in my library, etc. After much aggravation, I tried one last thing. I downloaded the new game manager. Tah Dah! There were the new games I had purchased and no trouble getting them to install. Hope this helps!! These games are nice. Try them. Sometimes Help pages don't help.
I love casual arts games and this one in particular. I play them year round. This game was fun to play and beautifully designed. However, when I was done I didn't have that warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling like I usually do. It was very secular with very loaded scenes. I felt like I had been shopping at the mall all day. There was very little of "the reason for the season" if any to speak of. This game has usually had a balance of both the secular and religious aspects of Christmas. Sadly, not this time. I will play it over many times, as usual because it is fun and beautiful. Please do not hate on me too much. I don't usually comment on games, but felt I needed to on this one. One more little thing; I wonder if Santa can fit in the door to his new house in the first scene? I highly recommend all of casual arts games!!
First: When it wants you to do the Microsoft Visual thing just close it twice. The game will load. Ignore that option. I play these games all year. I start in November and play them all except the first two or three because they are not up to today's graphics. I especially love the music for the Christmas games. The Collector's editions are worth it. More fun!!!!! I haven't played this one yet, but I know it won't disappoint.
