Garfield can finally do what he does best: sleep! But little does the fat cat know that his favorite lazy pastime is the key to excitement and adventure.

"Click the left mouse button" does not constitute adequate instructions. A "help" section should have been provided to explain exactly what every object is, what it does, and how to deal with it. It would have been nice to have more control over Garfield's speed.

I can sometimes forgive a boring game if it has music I like. But this game's music is annoying and the game itself bored me. I realize that the first couple of pictures should be simple ones, to introduce new players to the concept and how everything works. But a whole level of this?
This game lacks a feature that Pixel Art has that is essential in this sort of "color-by-number" game: the ability to quickly fill in large areas. Any game that doesn't have this feature will be a 'no sale' for me.
That, combined with the rest, means that for me, this is indeed not a game I will purchase.
Honestly, it should not take this long to pick up a piece and place it. And what's with all the floaty-spinny pieces nonsense? It makes me dizzy, and that's annoying.
In fact, it's so annoying, that even though I love jigsaw puzzles, this slow, floaty-spinny pieces thing is enough to make me not want to purchase this game. Add to that the fact that the pieces are all the same shape and you don't get to really choose the number you like to work with, *and* the annoying noise - I mean music - ... wow. This is so definitely one of those "you couldn't even give this to me for free" games.
I've played the first two games in this series, and so far I like this one more. It has some features the others didn't, and you can use your points to buy cute little pets.
I gave it 4 stars because I don't care for the music. It's not bad, just uninteresting.
The level of challenge is just right - so far. This game gets harder with more levels, and I suspect I haven't gotten anywhere near the most difficult ones. But it's fun, and I'm looking forward to completing levels so I can buy more cute little pets.
This has got to be one of the most user-unfriendly games I've ever tried, when it comes to games usable by visually-challenged players. Some of the spaces are so tiny, they're practically microscopic. It's hard to tell which number goes where (the numbers are also tiny) without magnifying the picture to the point that you can't even tell what it is.
This company should stick to Pixel Art, with its wide range of pictures and easy way of adjusting everything so it's comfortable for visually-challenged eyes.
Yes, I said 16. Big Fish Games is acquiring the successive Pixel Art games at a glacial pace. I'm about a third of the way through Pixel Art 16 on another site (I buy them here, though).
I love the mix of pictures, from kids' coloring book quality all the way to the classics and some of the most famous paintings (ie. the Mona Lisa and a couple by van Gogh).
I don't love the repetitive music. I usually turn the music off, because I've heard it all before, and it takes a couple of times of adjusting the music volume for it to "take."
A friend suggested these pictures would make great cross-stitch patterns.
Park Ranger games never fail to cheer me up, and this one is especially welcome after one of the coldest winters I've ever experienced. As an added bonus, we finally get a Collector's Edition! I've been wishing for that for a long time.
There are some nice touches in this 9th edition: The parents finally change their clothes! (the mom is still wearing the same necklace she's been wearing for years, no matter which game franchise she's in - Park Ranger, Cruise Director, or Christmas Wonderland)
I do have a couple of quibbles. The native museum displays have mixed up at least a dozen different native tribes from all over North and South America. They can't possibly all be from whatever area Buffalo Valley is. And part of Pinecreek Hills seems to be located in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada.
My only wish for this game is that it had included a guide to where to find the trash and wildlife! Some of those glass bottles are practically invisible, and it's annoying not to be able to get a perfect score.
I've played 6 different editions of Pixel Art (the others are on a different game site) and I am eager for BFG to offer the others. This is a perfect way to relax, and the music is the kind that I would listen to anyway (love the mellow strings and brass; it's very relaxing).
The pictures run the gamut from simple to really complicated, so this is great when you might want something quick or if you have the time to work on a complex picture that takes longer.
Normally I really enjoy Hiddenverse games. But this one was released without anyone having checked it for spelling and grammatical errors. I know that nobody is perfect but there are simply too many in this game for me to accept. They grate on my nerves, so I ended up stopping well before finishing my free hour. I deleted the game from my computer, and will not be buying it.

Storyline
1/ 5
First of all, I tried the demo after midnight, and the music level, which was automatically set to the highest number of decibels, nearly deafened me before I was able to lower it (hope the neighbors didn't wake up).
There's some sort of storyline, but what with trying to follow the instructions and realizing that they're clear as mud, I forgot the storyline and tried to get back to the main menu and exit the game.
Except I couldn't. The game was determined that 3 loaves of bread would be made and I only had 2. No exiting the game without the bread.
Games should allow a player to stop and exit at any time, but this one did not.
The only way I finally did get out was CTRL-ALT-DEL.
That's unacceptable. This game is not fun, The instructions might as well not exist, and the game mechanics take too long.
I spent more time trying to lower the screeching volume and trying to exit than I did actually playing.
