In the first restaurant I almost gave up! I'm so glad I didn't! Basically, there are four restaurants, each with 45 levels. The 45 levels are further divided by three "chapters." You have to finish the first chapter (first 15 levels) of each restaurant to unlock the possibility of getting 5 stars. So, I played through each restaurant once, and then again (with all the upgrades) to get 5 stars.
The LEAVES/LAUREL/WREATHS -- It took me until I was almost done before I figured this out. Basically, there is a set number of customers for each level. The level ends when EITHER the clock runs out or the number of customers runs out. In other words, you can end the level with time on the clock because you've run out of customers. If you serve all of the customers for a level, ta-da! You get the wreath.
(And developers: I almost rated lower because this is explained NO WHERE.)
I have no delusions that I'm some ace gamer, and no desires to be one either. I have enjoyed the Emily games because they had this option, and I'm beyond frustrated that they took it out.
1) I played it with the ability to cue tasks, but every time a level ended with undone tasks, it CRASHES. I'm gonna stop playing until there is an update... so aggravating.
2) Gameplay and story are extremely repetitive.
3) On one hand, the levels are challenging, but on the other, you know exactly how much metal sheets to make, bricks to make, etc. Takes strategic thinking out of it.
I am really upset that yet another game is put out with all white/caucasian characters. This story line is about Indian (subcontinent India) mythology, and yet every single character is drawn as white Euro-American.
The puzzles aren't half bad, pretty good for some of them. It just that picking up a deer-shaped puzzle piece on the screen to put it in a deer-shaped slot on the same screen is something that should be in pre-school games.
I agree with other posts that the mouse click mapping is off; and like so many other games these days, the English translations are just awful.
All the Moia games are terrific, including Moai V. This one is particularly good for hours of play -- and with the CE, the bonus content is as large as many stand-alone games. Great value, great fun, great game.
Okay, I haven't yet read other reviews, but I guarantee someone else has said this. This the same game as Lagoona 2. They literally used the same graphics, HO scenes, and puzzles.
What I don't like: 1) Same exact scenes. I have replayed Lagoona 2 and just feel like I did it again. 2) Sad that they got rid of the "food" search and feeding the ponies. I didn't like feeding the ponies, but I did like a running category of something to search for. 3) Like the first two games of Lagoona, you'd have to play for eons to get some trophies/achievements. You finish 95% and there's still some tiny thing that you'd have to re-play levels over and over to get -- just not worth the tedium. 4) I don't care what language you speak (and yes, so many languages are so much more beautiful than English), but if you don't have a grasp of the language, you shouldn't be writing clues. A menorah is not a candlabra, a spur is not the gas pedal for a horse (ewww), and there is no such word as "handkering."
What I like: 1) Darn it if I don't just love these games. I got this one on sale and so a few bucks for non-CE game and it does provide hours of fun. (I would NOT have been happy if this was a CE and I paid full price!) Just maybe add something new next time besides just flipping the graphic. 2) I did like the games moved to one section to play as their own levels. I really like games that have lots of mini-games like this.
In the end, I probably won't buy the next one. This one was a gimme with so much copied content, not sure if I'll risk it next time.

That's just cruel. Not up to the usual "Mystery Trackers" level at all. Very short. I didn't worry so much about finding the collectibles because I thought that I had loads of time yet. Wow, then, bam! It's over? Shortest game ever. I gave it three stars because what WAS there was stellar.
I recommend this game!

I have loved the "Be A King" franchise up until this one. Wow. It just seems so cumbersome, so much clicking! And, before, you could have some creativity in how you solved each level. Now it's just "solve it this unique way or fail." Visually, yes, it's head and shoulders above the others, but as intuitive, strategic game-play, it just stinks.
