After reading some of the reviews on here after i purchased and while the game was downloading, i expected a lame ghost game, and was thinking i'd regret the purchase. Surprisingly, it was really good. And long. This game takes a while. I generally play these games in spurts of maybe 60-90 minutes at a time. I work random/late hours so i like to play in my wind down time after work. It took me quite a few days to finish this one out. And the bonus game from a different perspective was interesting too.
There's a decent storyline, and each key you're required to find is like a little chapter in itself. The haunted house you play in just seems to keep on growing and building itself, just like the famous Winchester house.
Don't get too turned off by negative reviews, this game was light, fun, and long. Some of the puzzles are tricky and actually require you to concentrate and think, which is a nice change from a lot of other games in this style.
I've been playing these games for over a decade, and I'm glad i bought this game. I don't have any regrets whatsoever.
