Great! I paid for another game from bigfishgames.com and it doesn't work all the way through!!! I was almost at the end and it quit. I got only the music and the spinning poker chip. I went to my account and reactivated it ... Same thing. Why don't you make sure games work before you sell them Big Fish! Oh ... Right ... it's all about money!!!

I must say the first 15 - 30 minutes that I played, I wasn't sure how I felt about "The Promised Land", but it quickly became one of my favorites. Unfortunately, many things didn't get done because I was "lost" playing this game. The animation was great, the challenges were were a challenge, but achievable. I simply enjoyed it and am sad that I completed it.

I have always enjoyed Hidden Object games, but have grown tired of the macabre, so was pleased to see one that was just a fairly simple HO game. I like the format. I like the puzzles. What I don't like is the fact that it crashes every time I attempt to harvest one particular crop ... red peppers. Not sure what the problem is, but it's certainly putting a damper on my enjoying this game!
I, too, am tired of the spooky/chilling macabre hidden object games. A little goes a long way. As a result, I found this game refreshing. It was not easy, but not terribly challenging. Just a good enjoyable game.
One thing that REALLY bothers me with hidden object games is when the creators don't know what the objects they're "hiding" are! That's the case here. Don't call a putty knife a trowel, etc. If you don't know the proper name for something, DON'T USE IT!!!! It's that simple. Spoils the game for me! Guess I'm too old to enjoy this because I know the proper names for these objects!
I don't recommend this game.

I frequently play games to relax, so I am like others who are tired of creepy, scary, dark HOGs. As a result, I like this game. My only complaint is one I've had with several HOG's ... the creator(s) of any HOG should be certain that they know what an object is before they use it in the game. A blotter is not a stamp or a razor blade is not a razor, etc. Those are only 2 examples that immediately come to mind, but there are many more. I know it sounds petty, but it takes some of the fun out of playing when you can't find something and by using the hint you realize it's because they didn't name it properly.
