This game was likeable enough in the trial. It runs fine. I tend to pick up collector's editions for the "step by step" guides as I know I am going to get stuck now and then.
This guide is a joke. It's sort of Captain Obvious in telling you what needs to be done (pick up stuff, remove more stuff) but leaves out a -lot- of steps. I need to build a building now but there is a lot in between point a and point b that is not covered.
I like a challenge but I do not like feeling as if I have been cheated.

You have to think when playing this game. It is not a cakewalk. If I could have rated the level of challenge higher, I would have.
This doesn't mean it isn't playable. Far from it! You often have to rethink how you play it - you can't just pick up the resources, build the buildings and win. You can win a game just by doing one thing differently than you might in another time management game.
Tip for level 5: you -must- demolish one building and put another in its place.

This game is part of a series that make me happy to shell out the bucks. Love them! I almost bought this one without trying it first, that's how much I love them.
BUT...I can't read the text boxes without sticking my face about six inches from the screen. The boxes are large enough that you can easily double the font size. Wish you would.
Fun factor is ok and visual/sound poor mostly because of the small text.

I'm not usually into solitaire games but I couldn't pass up a zombie game. Too funny! Thought is required to get through the levels and that's a welcome thing. My only beef is that the "Menu" button onscreen covers up one of the cards numbers, meaning I have to guess what that one is.

First off, those who complain about the music: spot on. It's techno-inappropriate to the theme and quite distracting. Turning it off through the Options is highly recommended.
I am completely intrigued by reindeer,on cycles taking elves to a restaurant to buy toys. Why not? Weird, but if you buy Santa delivering toys all in one night, it works. I've been challenged early on and am quite happy about it.
Are you ready to take on a challenge that will change the destiny of the whole kingdom? Help Victoria bring back the rightful heir to the throne and restore justice.

I have a bias against most hidden picture/alleged adventure games so when I saw this game come up, I hesitated. Look at that icon, the title: typical HOG. Then I actually read the description....whoa, TIME MANAGEMENT! Boo-yah!
It's purty! It's challenging! You're not guaranteed a win the first time through a level, nor the second...takes some planning.
My first clue should have been the limited time of the demo: it was over in 20 minutes. Normally, that tells me the game is a short one and I should avoid investing in it but....'Time Management' games have become quite rare and I was desperate.
I bought the game thinking surely it would become more of a challenge later on. It really doesn't: pick up the food. Pick up the next one. Do it again. Tada, there is the chest. Next maze.
The game is a pretty one. Effort was put into the graphics and color is all over the game. I gave the stars for that part.
If I could get a refund, though, I would. I'm almost done with the thing inside an hour. I'm not sure I can stand going back.
