I just could not get in to this game. The sound of thunder (????) every few seconds was very bad. The Hunters voice left much to be desired. He spoke to quick and low, even cutting off his words. The evil voice was very irritating . The graphics were to crowded and not sharp. The mini-games were not bad and the HOPS alright but nothing new. The game tried to be scary, but failed in its attempt.

I enjoyed the graphics and voice overs which were done very nicely. Love the HOPS because they had some different qualities to them. But the names of characters from the Wizard of OZ were really out of place. actually had me thinking, "what in the world, the names of these characters should be in a fairy tale , not a mystery". So many characters and hard to keep up with. I felt the story could have flowed much better then it did. This is not a game I will purchase, but I am sure many will like it. So I will recommend it on that basis. As always, try it before you buy it.

How refreshing to play a wonderful game with such crisp graphics. Everything in normal color. I enjoyed this demo very much and will be buying the CE for sure. The story line kept my interest. Even though the puzzles were not extremely challenging, I still enjoyed them. The demo seemed to be pretty short even with doing all the puzzles, it said I had 45 minutes left. Others give a much more in depth review, so I just wanted to say I really like the game and well worth the buy.

Liked the story line real well but that's about all. This game is put together poorly. Unnecessary wait between hands, music could have been better. Graphics cartoonish. Took me clicking about 6 times before I could even exit. Love solitaire games but found this one extremely irritating. Had no desire to even finish the trial period.

One star is the best I could do. I realize it takes a lot to put these games together, but this needed a lot of work. Very irritating to drag items up from inventory and it keeps dropping before one gets it to go where it is needed. Voice overs were not good. The whole thing seemed hurried and did not flow well. No map and hint button is of little use.The graphics were not bad and the story line ok. This is one I will pass on buying.
I played all the demo and found the game just OK. The graphics were fine, and voice overs were ok when someone finally talked. I was disappointed in only cards to collect. Especially sense it is a CE, I felt it very lacking in all the goodies. So many HOPS and puzzles that I felt the story and the characters got lost, at times I had to stop and ask myself what the point of the game was. Of course if one loves lot of HOPS and puzzles, this is right up your alley. The story is nothing new. I think it is SE worthy but not CE.
I played all the demo, which was very short. Loved the graphics and the voices. Always enjoy foggy ol London, a place of mystery and of strange criminals. This is a fun game and HOPA's are great and some quite different. Others have given a more detailed review, so I will not go into all that. I enjoyed the game and will buy it.
This game received so many good reviews that I bought it with out trying the demo, a thing I never do. I am so glad to say I was not disappointed in any way. I love how it is presented, reminds me of an old fashion detective story. I loved the graphics and voice overs. The story line is great. Lots of different aspects. I am looking forward to the next two.

I played the whole demo without any problems. The graphics were very good and the voice overs not bad. The is the very first Mystery Case File game I have ever been so disappointed in. I found the game very irritating and a mishmash of so much stuff going on that the story and games never even complimented one another. One found themselves running here and there doing this and that without any rhyme or reason. I found myself asking what was the story again. I just could not give this game even a 4. I have all Mystery Case File games but this is one that I will not buy, not even the SE. but as always, try it for your self. I suggest you check out the Game Hints section for additional reviews.
I really loved this game. So different and suspenseful. I love the voice of S.A.R.A. The other voices were well done also. Graphics were wonderful. Playing this game with many different ideas was refreshing. Others have given a detailed review, so I will let this be short. I highly recommend this CE game.
