I haven't read any of the other reviews, but this game is a rare find that combines marble popper with some RPG elements to the game. Each level is vertical scrolling from bottom to top. If you are not fast enough Game Over. A little extra depth with the right mouse button to shoot arrows taking out bugs, monsters, etc. while trying to dodge their fire while clearing level. Music is great.
I'm usually not that harsh on reviews but I really have no idea what I just played or why I played it. A random 1980'ish mining simulator that gets super repetitive in a heartbeat. I maxed out all the ships and upgrades under the 60 minute time trial and had over 600,000 credits to spare so that should tell you have shallow this game is.
Big Fish should have past on this game and maybe brought something like Rescue Team 7 or something better in this genre. So far the reviews are speaking for themselves. Save yourself the headache and play something more worthy of your time.
I didn't play the first one but tried this and knew I was sold on the concept. Even if you don't like or never played tower defense you might like the strategy, planning, and puzzle aspect on where to spend your currency. Quick pros and cons below to keep this review concept and without any opinions:
Pros:
+ Graphics are quite nice with widescreen HD format + Towers use the rock, paper, scissors approach to enemies + 3 difficulties of play to chose from + Simple to learn but a good challenge to master a level + Plenty of unlocks at the forge to increase trap damage %, unlocks to get more gold from enemy kills, more starting gold unlocks at beginning of each level. All these can be achieved by earning crystals when you complete new levels.
Cons:
- Some might say this game is a bit of grind but if you like this type of game you could still like it. Just try the demo and see if it is for you. - From my short play thru of about 6 levels there seems to be only 4 traps that are available so variety of traps could potentially be a con for some. I'm not sure yet if more varying traps are unlocked mid to end game. - Even on easy until you get the flow of the game get 3 stars can be a bit difficult for casual players. Not a deal breaker for me but did notice a slightly higher difficulty for this game.
Go into this as a simple but yet fun Tower Defense game and you might love it. Just keep in mind this don't have the depth of other games like this in the genre like Defense Grid series or Kingdom Rush Frontiers. Give this game a shot. It might be a hidden a gem you are looking for.
Playing a few levels the music began to seem familiar and the sound track used in Adelantado is used in this game. I have enjoyed the few levels I played so far. The blocked roads are not so piled up to make level design a pain to figure out so far. So far clearing bushes and repairing bridges with gold, food, and wood collecting. Resource management is well presented when to upgrade buildings to progress. If you like Adelantado's sound track and like games like Moai series and Pirate Chronicles you might enjoy this game. I'm sure the levels will get harder as I progress but early impressions for me are good and another good addition to the Time Management category!
You won't be able to resist the charm of this wonderful Match-3, Hidden Object mash up! Are you ready to join the snails on an exciting garden adventure?

I will keep this review concise and to the point referring to what I saw in my hour trial of playing the game. As others have said try the demo first to make sure this game is for you because it is not for everyone...
Pros:
- Graphics are top notch and colorful - Sound and music tracks actual great (has 5.1 sound on my surround which sound quite good) - 150 levels (Since I have only completed about 16 levels in an hour this game could potentially have hours of play time. Can't verify for sure but only off what I've completed..) - Great combos and power up options unlock as you progress.
Cons:
- No casual mode only moves limited mode. I enjoyed some of the game mechanics this game has to offer but on the fence by not appealing to casual players. - Levels are small and generally short without much depth during the trial. - Game seems to be geared towards kids more but to me the theme didn't matter as much. I am more neutral on this. To some however this may be a con for some.
I am on the fence on whether to buy because the overall gameplay is fun other than the level design being moves limited. I was going to rate the game 3 stars but to a degree I'm between it being a 3 1/2 so I gave it a 4. Hope this review helps others on the fence like me.
I went into this new Match-3 game with very low expectations thinking this would be just another cut-paste simple match-3 game with bland game play and I was pleasantly surprised at this gem! I thought to start with this game was going to be a vanilla match-3 game but within a few levels I kept playing until my trial expired! The great think about this game too is you can play casual with no penalties or losses or turn the casual mode off for a more challenging play thru if that is your style. To best sum up the layout of the level variety I will describe some below (I may be missing a few modes but will try to cover most of them).
Level Layouts:
1) Make matches next to gold nuggets to clear level. Clear x number of gold to complete level. 2) Make matches in gold tiles to complete level split up into 3 grid like levels. 48 gold tiles = 3 boards with 16 gold tiles each to clear. 3) Make matches near ground to break up dirt to dig up dirt. Then make matches near gold buried in dirt. Collect x amount of gold to clear level. Similar game play I think I did this in the Fishdom series. 4) Casual mode off - Some levels offer with casual mode off for you to clear x number of pieces within certain number of moves. 5) Casual mode off - Some levels with casual mode off want you to clear the board without the board filling up to the top or game over. A little hardcore for me but some may enjoy! 6) Making matches to drop jewelry off the bottom of the board. Drop or explode x number of jewelry to complete level. 7) Making matches with gold covered gems before they reach the top of the screen. This was kind of fun. If casual mode if off during this mode and gems reach top before goals are reached I believe it is game over.
So now you can see why I went ahead and bought this one. I might of forgot a mode because it was quite easy to get lost in the game with all these modes this game has to offer whether you want to try the levels casually or timed! The choice is yours and you can replay tomb levels if you like.
Highly recommend this to any casual or expert Match-3 gamer! Try the trial and see how fast that 60 minutes sneaks up on you. I hope my review was helpful to everyone that has interest in what this game has to offer everyone in helping them decide if it is worth a buy to you or not. Consider the reviews, try the trial, then decide for yourself if this game is your bread and butter!
If you loved the Laruaville series this game seems to have a lot of familiar mechanics to gameplay and level design. Also if you like the occasional mini golf like solitaire games, hidden objects scenes, and find the differences between two pics you can play them or skip them as well. If you enjoyed Cursed House 3 or any of the Laruaville games this is a must buy!
The only con I can see so far is that you don't get to build your buildings when you earn enough coins. They are built automatically. This is only a minor complaint. I overall have enjoyed this welcoming addition to the Match-3 genre. Some things are lot of the same as Laruaville series with a few differences but doesn't take away from the fun factor of the game!
This is a great chain match-3 game where you draw the matches of 3 or more to make matches similar to Heroes of Helias 3 (also great game) if you never played this or something similar. It's been years since I played the first 4 Elements game but after playing Heroes of Helias 3 I knew I had to have this one. It has a timed mode and relaxed mode for casual players. There are 4 powerups you can charge while playing levels with aditional puzzles and a few hidden object scenes to mix things up little. This game is great and can't wait for a sequel that is long overdue!
I first started playing this series with Jewel Match 4 and loved it with the blend of hidden object and puzzle scenarios. It had a descent story and it's everything you would expect from the series.
Jewel Match Royale Collector's Edition is great in terms of a great match-3 game. There is usually 3 rooms per level to complete with a bonus room called the garden to get more coins and stars for rebuilding castles. I do miss the lack of story and the elements like puzzles and hidden object scenes but this doesn't take away from this game too much. The game is beautiful and as always the music is always relaxing to listen to when completing levels. In the Collector's Edition I believe there are 150 levels with 4 castles to rebuild + LOTS of minigames to unlock so it is definitely worth the price!
If you are fan of the series or never played one this is a good place to start match Jewels! I own the whole series now and can't wait to see what the next one brings!
I liked the concept of the game but the game play overall is bit hard even in early levels. Some may love this as this game does require some skill of planning your matches out ahead of time. Every two times you don't make a match more stones are dropped making it that much harder to earn 3 stars. I only tried the demo and it wasn't for me so as others have said I would try the demo first to see if this different take on match-3 is for you. I can't recommend it though for casual players as earning 3 stars requires you to finish the level in set number of moves.
