How nice to play a game with a good level of challenge and not have to pay 13.99 for it!
The premise is simple - travel to different locations and find different objects to use in solving different puzzles. You have to open up the different areas before you can jump to them, so you really have to search every area. Several times I got stuck and had to use my hints to find an item that was so well hidden, I couldn't figure out what to get! It was excellent, the perfect amount of challenge.
It took more than 8 hours too, which makes me truly feel like I got my money's worth. I am sure I will replay this game in a few months after I have forgotten where the objects are hidden.
I truly hope the developer makes sequels like this game and not the 'classic' version, which is terribly boring. This version was great.
I love TMGs but this was an awful game. The mechanics were annoying, the power ups were not very helpful, and I didn't like the sleazy outfits on the characters. I didn't even complete the trial version. I played it for 24 minutes and deleted it. Terrible game.
The indication that I really enjoy a game is how many times I have played it through. I enjoyed this game enough to have played it through 2x and am working on a third time.
This match 3 has some neat varieties. It has an adventure mode, and it also has some puzzle style boards where you have to move and line up the objects in the boards to drop them over to a lower level so they break. It is not a typical match 3 and they disappear, you have to think ahead a few moves to succeed at the game. I found it quite mentally stimulating and more challenging than the typical match 3.
I recommend this game!

Zoo Vet
Travel around the zoo, performing check-ups on cuddly otters, dangerous lions, wobbly penguins, and hyper zebras.
I really enjoyed this game and have played it through multiple times. It is not your typical adventure game. You learn lots of neat facts about different animals you may not interact with often. There are a few spots that might not be for the squeamish, but overall I really enjoy playing vet for a day.
I was trying the demo and completed it before one hour had elapsed and up pops a 'you have completed the demo' screen. It was an instant turn-off. Reading the other reviewers I see that they were not impressed with the ending, so it would seem this game is not worth it. I will not be purchasing it.
I will say that the graphics are good, but the voice actors don't sound right somehow, and the game was too easy, even on 'expert' mode. It is not worth the 7 bucks.
Disclaimer - I only played the trial version (1 hour) of this game. It is possible the game picks up later, but given the entire first part is consistently basic, I was not interested in purchasing the game.
This is a very simplistic hidden object game with very basic puzzles at different intervals.
The graphics in this game are flat, reminiscent of a monochrome comic book. The object lists are similarly simplistic. The puzzles are simplistic to the point of boredom; there is just not much to them. I believe the only puzzle I played that gave even a slight challenge was a slider puzzle. The other puzzles I can recall were a few piece swap puzzles and a point-and-click shooting segment. The point and click surprised me; I don't usually see puzzles like that in hidden object games.
The storyline did not work. It was too much like the Bourne saga, but dumbed down a lot. I actually found myself laughing at the game, it was so bad.
The game engine has a lot of potential. It is apparent that whomever designed it gave it a lot of thought. I would strongly recommend that the development team come up with a new concept and better storyline for the game engine. It strikes me as a shame to waste such a good engine on such a remedial game.
The game object is to uncover various artifacts and solve puzzles to uncover the mystery of the society's demise. To accomplish this you have to acquire a combination of skills.
In addition to this game play, you have to feed and rest your characters which impacts how long they can work. They can also romance each other by giving flowers to each other which increases how long they can work before eating and sleeping again.
I have played this game through three times and found it a lot of fun. It takes some planning ahead to make sure you have a team with the right combination of skills so you can get every item. You also have optional items you can collect to increase the amount of money you have.
Pros - Slow gameplay, you can set your own pace. Puzzles are challenging but not too complicated. Flexible gameplay. Good storyline and graphics
Cons - Scrolling is not as smooth as I would prefer. You can back yourself into a corner where you can no longer progress if you do not distribute your skills.
Overall this is an enjoyable game that I recommend.
Lots of jokes and puzzles in this game. It is kind of short, but that is typical of this style of game. I have the first in the series, and I will probably buy the next version.
