Generally I don't like Builder games. All that chopping trees and getting resources tired me out - which is probably why I like this game so much; there is no "getting of resources" except for extra workers and $$$. YAY! The graphics are beautiful and the levels challenging, and the number of levels is just right IMO. Its well put together and reasonably easy to understand. I truly did love it!
I loved Aveyond and its spin offs, and although the idea of this game is great, and the graphics much improved from Aveyond days, it was just a little boring and too difficult in some areas for me. Even with all the help available in the game, once I got bitten by something, I couldn't find my way back to the pink crystal. The Save As / Equip/Items etc screens were as confusing as I remember them from Aveyond, and I just feel too time poor to spend the time this game obviously needs to really get into it.
This is the most beautiful game I've played in a long while, although in parts it felt a bit like a Avatar knock off, but I just found it interesting and beautiful, and forgave it for its somewhat easier puzzles, even though it did make me think in a couple of places. Just letting the main entry run its full length was like stepping into another world. It was a little limiting on the places you could go in a section, which helped make it easier than it could have been.
I had some trouble running this game effectively; I had to change the cursor to the normal computer cursor to stop jiggy pointer syndrome, and run the whole game not at full screen to stop character staggering/ghosting which really was impossible to play with at full screen. Once I did these things however, the game was enjoyable, so I did go right through the trial and bought it. I'm a little unclear if I would recommend it to others with these kinds of problems (for some users - obviously not everyone has had problems). I don't get these issues with Roads to Rome or Legends of Atlantis.
Firstly, I couldn't even play it without changing the cursor to a normal PC cursor (which it nearly crashed trying to get into the settings). Secondly, the paved area behind the people you are trying to serve often obscures what they want, leaving you to guess. I then played the full trial out. I like the concept very much, but the way the game works, the dog and the background music kind of puts me to sleep after a while. I think it needed a little more work before being released.
Let's get farming in this unique Hidden Object farming simulator hybrid! Harvest the perfect crop, sell it at the market and search the farm for treasures!
I was very surprised to find this game enjoyable, being a bit of so many types of games rolled into one. But WOW - somehow it works for me, and I've spent hour and hour in gaming addiction heaven. There's lots of things I don't understand (like why there was a gold cup on my farm which has never appeared again# but it didn't matter. I can even skip the mini games I find tedious #minesweeper) - I just keep clicking on those mines! It's not the most challenging game, but it was enjoyable for me!
I did buy this, even though I found the trial a little ho hum boring. I can only take about 15 mins at a time, because otherwise I fall asleep, making the game last extra long. There are parts I like (naming the characters) and its very graphically pretty but there's just something missing. I don't remember the first one being this boring. Maybe its just me. I like starving my people so they die when the boredom is too great. Not one of my favourites, but I'm battling on through it.
I've had this game for months, played it for months, and still haven't got all the golds. There are so many levels and I love the gameplay and having one worker who can only do certain things. And some of the levels are really challenging to get those golds! One of the few games where I love the music too!
Discover the fabulous secrets that a jungle hides in Adelantado Trilogy: Book One! Help the brave and noble officer, Don Diego De Leon, to find and save the lost expedition.
This is my TM favourite game this year. It ticks all the right boxes for me; structured yet enough freedom to get myself into trouble. Can't wait for the rest in the trilogy!! There are some similar features to "Roads To" series but this is so much more and has a place of its own. Loved it!!!!!
I recommend this game!

There were many things I liked about this game, but the dislikes just kept pushing me over the edge; the finicky exact clicking, the inability to click through waiters or guests to get at things, and the confusion over how the Waitress worked. I bought it - because there have been so few good time management games - so whilst waiting for another one of those, this will have to do. I liked the bugless graphics, the upgrades and idea of upgrading the outside of the store as well as the inside.
