Well, I normally never read the reviews before I buy because it sways me. I did read them and I bought it. Other than finding the "cute critter" extras..I find very little "common sense" in this game. Just why would one think to put a glowing ember into some plant dangling over a well?? What "logic" is there to toss an arrow at a "huge pillar?" I get so aggravated when there is a common sense article one would use..where is the thinking process?? One the very plus side...the graphics are spell binding...enough to draw you in immediately, it is beautifully done..i just wish it were more on a common sense level. Sorry!
While the sheer volume of these new games grow as the graphics get better...I find myelf wondering if we are being forced to buy larger computers "yearly" to keep up. This held my interest because it made "sense" more than the new schizophrenic ones running here and there and having no idea wehre you are going or if you have missed something. At least hope sprang eternal as you could at least find some objects closeby that we could use.I also loved it because I felt like I actually got my monies worth...the way I had to play it, with my time schedule..it just kept going and going...even the bonus chapter was very good. I highly, highly recommend this game if you do not want a schizophrenic rush when playing and getting no where.
The Emperor’s son has a mysterious illness. As legendary healer Daiyu, you’re called to the palace to save him, but you end up having to save yourself!
From start to finish I loved this game. Voice overs were great, loved the music, loved the graphics..so clear and crisp. HOS were not difficult and puzzles were not hard. I even liked looking for the "cranes" in each new scene. It is rare that I want to replay one of these but this is an exception. It is not a dark plot, nor macabre, but just plain enjoyable. I highly recommend this game!
I tire of the schizophrenic scramble these developers are taking these days. Was this another great one for Elephant?? Yes, it has some new twists that are much needed in HOG'S these days. Are the Graphics superb? Yes. All developers can take lessons from Elephant. For me I will pass because my life is a scramble and I like something to make me relax...not feel shredded in the story plot of running to and fro. I will recommend this game because this is right up a lot of alleys! :-)
I am not much of a frag. player, they do not interest me...so for me to even buy it is weird in its self. I liked it because it was strange. The characters were fun and the graphics very nice. I did not mind the sound at all. I could not find a mirror fragment in the third mirror scene but was able to back track and it worked out well. Main complaint....TO DARN S-H-O-R-T-. I work for my money...especially now...the games need to be worth the m-o-n-e-y!!
Who does not love the"Big City Adventures?" I still enjoy these games and download them again and again to play. The biggest enjoyment for me was the upbeat music in this one. The additional very animated items was a nice touch as well. I would always recommend them for a source of great fun.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
I never read the reviews on MCF'S because they have always been wonderful and I do not want to be swayed by others opinions before I try it. What is up with this??? I liked "nothing" about it and wish I could have a refund. If there is a plus, I did like traveling to other areas to complete my "find" list. The only other one that lacked any fun factor was the first "Ravenhurst." Just doing the puzzle at the end of each chapter was a bore. Then they came out with "Madam Fate" and the puzzles are still a treat for me and one of the few that I go back and download again just to do. I will "not" be as quick to spend my bucks next year!
