I always have to make myself buy these because puppets and creepy dolls kind of freak me out. However, these games are always so well done that I forget they are puppets in a matter of minutes and get into the story and challenges. I wouldn't miss a PuppetShow game, they always deliver.
Boy, I really like MCF, It's my favorite game group, but this one was well, boring. Story line and challenge were nearly non-existant. Definitely a hidden object (and hidden object and hidden object) game. If it weren't for the super puzzles they are known for, I would have quit. In fact, I just did halfway through the game. No fun environments to explore, no real character development. Retro means cheap and easy to develop, I guess.
This was a solid game that entertained and had good puzzles that related to the story. The only con was the bonus chapter which had way too many matching games. They sort of phoned that one in. Even the villain's voice was, well, too nice in that final scene. However, that doesn't take away from the main game which was well-paced and fun. Graphics are always good from Grim Facade and the atmosphere is on point. I rarely want to play games again, but I would with this one so that's another point in it's favor.
I've had other Dead Reckoning games that I've enjoyed much more. The graphics were great, as usual. The story is usually much more evident, though. This is almost nonexistent. Didn't get past the first trial hour, but certainly the story should have taken hold by then. Shame. I like this series.
This game is the most simplistic one I've seen in a long time. The mini-games had zero challenge regardless of difficulty chosen. The graphics were more like a pretty storybook but not up to par with most games out there. Good if you are starting out, possibly, but even my fifteen year old thought it looked like someone's first game. Pretty, but not very fun.
What a lovely experience it was to play this game. From the first scene to bonus chapter it did not disappoint. Beautiful illustrations, creating some scenes so interesting, that I didn't want to leave them. Interesting puzzles, easy to navigate and know if you have found bonus items. Engaging, even engrossing but all-in-all just a beautiful ride.

I bought this because the demo was fun but once in the full game it quickly became boring. No awards, no extras to find and fighting the environment is just boring after a while. It makes for a weak story line because what else can plants do but possibly twist around you?! Lesson learned. I need a human villain to keep it entertaining after the first hour.
I enjoyed this game for it's ease of operation, extras and the scenes are very lovely. Great choice of colors and it hits the right note between too scary to be relaxing and too childlike for adults. I will definitely check out the other Chimaras games now.
I liked the demo of this game enough to purchase it but it went downhill from there. The puzzles were good, but eventually I couldn't wait for it be over. The story line was really poor and the scenery was so icy it began to feel like I was inside of a glass figurine. There's only so much interest to that. Wouldn't buy it again.
This was a really nice game with good illustrations, not too scary of an environment and it's very easy to fall into. For those who like a mystery and play for fun puzzles that aren't too challenging. Though you can do the puzzles in hard mode, it doesn't compare to MCF or other more mind-intensive game play. I appreciate the approach. It's neither too crime-oriented nor too childlike. It hits the right note, somewhere in the middle.
