I purchase mostly hidden object games and match 3 games are runners up. This game's strategy is unlike match 3 in that it is more challenging. I actually had to plot out my next moves and plan ahead. Very fun and it is challenging but not hard. I like the music that goes along. The storyline is fine too, not real involved. I like the mini game of switching and rotating tiles to form pictures.
I would like to see more strategy games like this one.
The variety in the pictures, the excellent graphics, and the new and different game style made this game very enjoyable and relaxing. The music was good too. It took me several days to finish it and I still revisit the game because of the beautiful and unusual pictures. I would purchase more of these types of games for sure.
This is just another review on top of so many others but I really wanted to review this game. I don't tend to go for games that I think are scary but this one intrigued me from the start. I did the trial and was hooked by the fun game play with interesting characters and a storyline that has not been overdone. It was a little creepy at times for me but nothing that made me want to quit playing. The minigames are good. Not too hard but not too easy either. I liked the suspenseful music. The cut scenes were important to the story. I did not guess the ending so that was a surprise.
I really had fun with this one. It seemed fresh and new as far as match 3 games go. It had a funny storyline that kept me engaged and I liked the art and graphics. Match 3 play was not difficult but did have a lot of interesting things happening all at the same time to make it fun. Poor Mel, I couldn't wait to help him out but since he is pretty messed up it will take way more time than the trial offers-thank goodness! Because the longer this game goes the better. I left my computer laughing and really enjoying a new way of doing a storyline.
I have played LOTS of marble popping games and really love them but most have the same look and feel. This one is done differently and I really like it a lot! Fun, fun, fun. I like all the different creatures presented as obstacles. The graphics are very good AND I enjoy the music. This is one game I would play over and over.
Yay! Thank you Big Fish for fixing the game with an update so that I could go past the hexagonal stage. I enjoy all the different takes on hidden objects and mini games. They are not difficult but what a relaxing, good feeling game. They put my two favorite things together, hidden objects and designing. The music is pleasant although it repeats but that does not bother me. Some would choose to have a more challenging adventure but I still enjoy this game a lot because I have purchased a ton of other challenging games.
I enjoyed the storyline and the characters a lot. The game was right in line with the old nursery rhymes of my past. I thoroughly enjoyed the Hidden object scenes. There was variety in how to complete them. Also, if you prefer match 3 you could do that instead. I did the match 3 twice just because it was fun too. Puzzles to solve the objectives were not too difficult to figure out on my own and keep the game moving. That is what I prefer. The graphics were well done with all kinds of detail that was enjoyable to look at. The voice overs were done well and there was only one voice I didn't care for so I skipped the cutscene in that instance. The music was pleasant. It was a refreshing Christmas Spirit game without dark, evil demons lurking around every corner. I don't think it was too short either. Nicely done.
I felt like this game was very well done with just the right amount of storyline videos and actual game play. The graphics were great and I enjoyed the characters alot. Also it isn't so predictable as some other HOG. The storyline was pretty cool. It took me a little bit to catch onto the N,S,E,W wizard protector dude's disappearances but it was pretty enjoyable to me. I did not feel like there were any loose ends left when the game was finished. Sound was fine although I usually don't have music playing or voice overs very loud when I play. I would give the makers credit for producing 4 different experiences that differed enough from each other but stayed right along with the storyline. The minigames were not too hard. The one thing that would have made it even more enjoyable for MY taste would be to add several more hidden object scenes. I love them and can't get enough of them. I prefer them over minigames and the actual hunting around the scenes for objects to help me move on. But it was very well done!!
This game is so much fun and has a lot of HOS! I have played the game several times through the years. And don't forget to collect the special hidden items!!
