I just finished this including the Bonus Chapter and I completely enjoyed it. I won't go into the features and perks as others have already covered those areas.
What I would like to add is that this is an excellent game for the intermediate game player. The puzzles are challenging but doable and the HOS offer different methods rather than the standard "shopping" list.
I have this complete series and have not been disappointed by any of the Issues. I know from some of the reviews that some were disappointed in this one and it may not be challenging enough for the expert gamer but those of us who like a good fun game will enjoy this.
I recommend this game!

I just finished this CE + Bonus game and I'm very pleased with it. I thought the story line was good and held my attention well. The games and HOS were challenging for me but not too tough. If you are an expert gamer then they may be to easy but as an intermediate and casual gamer they were very good. I play to be entertained not to be stressed out.
Some of the lower reviews caused me to think twice before buying this one but I like the series. I think Kate is about the coolest character and now with Emily on board I think I can see where this is going. I think the next volume will see the return of Emily to find and cure Kate of the evil being.
One of the nice little helpers I discovered is the small icon that keeps tabs on the evil faces you need to find in each scene. All the achievements are obtainable. Again if you like this series buy this game. More and more I'm beginning to realize that not all games are going to appeal to all gamers. So just trust your instincts and stick with the series that you enjoy and you won't be disappointed.
I recommend this game!

I was slow in buying this game after the many varied reviews. My final decision was made based on the fact that I had all the previous issues and I like to keep up with the ongoing series.
I was greatly suprised in a good way after playing this one. Yes there are new characters from the ongoing series but they all tie into the story line. The technical features have been covered by other reviewers and I found all to be very good.
I have found that by watching the overall ratings and using 3 1/2 to 5 stars as my barometer I am seldom disappointed. I highly recommend this game if you have enjoyed the previous ones. I only used the guide a few times to get a better explanation of the mini games.
So in conclusion "Buy It"
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game and the two preceeding games in this series. I hope the developers continue the story line with more of the same.
As others have said the graphics are great, voice overs are excellent and it all makes sense. The challenge level is good for me as I'm not an expert puzzle player. My game time was about 5 to 6 hours over a couple of nights. If a fourth doesn't come soon I will definately go back and replay all three. I won't waste your time reviewing all the features as others have already covered them. Well worth the $$ for the CE.

Hi folks. Just finished this game and all I can say is what a wonderful addition to the series. I have followed this from "Charleston Curse" and it seems like each one just gets better. If I have any issue it would be that occasionly the ambient sound would cover the voice over and and if you didn't look at the captioning quick enough you missed it. Very minor issue. I highly recommend this game to all HO fans. One suggestion for anyone new to this series. Start with Charleston Curse and play them in order as the story line will make more sense. As I said at the beginning I'm ready for the next one.
