I have played countless games since The 13th Skull came out, and have many favorites But to this day, this game remains my favorite of all time. Unlike a lot of people, I LOVE the use of live actors. It brings reality to the game play. Better than average or even cartoonish depictions of the characters. This game provides a wonderful atmosphere. You almost feel as though you too are in the swamps. The music is perfect for both the story line and the location in deep Louisiana. Story was intriguing and kept my interest the whole time. Was surprised at the ending. I thought this game deserves a bit of a nudge, being so many years have past since it came out. It will always be my number one!
I downloaded the trial version on a whim and found myself buying this game immediately. It has enough variety to keep me interested and some good (and sometimes hard) hidden object scenes to keep this HO lover satisfied. No, the graphics aren't fancy, but the fun in the game play made up for this.
At first I didn't care for all the reading but then realized that having to read the journal was better than some games with bad voice overs. Love having to charge the elevator with different challenges. This game helps my brain exercise as it tests a number of different skills. Some of the muted backgrounds and carefully hidden objects really made me work at times to accomplish the goals.
If you want something more sophisticated, than this isn't for you. But if you want some variety and a bit of fun, give it a try.
What a pleasant game to play! The graphics are simply beautiful, the music is soothing and the storyline makes sense. I like the way the screen will move around to areas that still need to be played. The player is also given the option of whether or not to use the timed mode or just relax and enjoy the lovely gems. A great way to unwind and a welcome change from HOPA games. Kudos to Big Fish for grabbing this one!
This game grabbed me from the get go. The hour trial just flew by as I became so engrossed in the plot, the music and the visuals (yes they are dark, but so is this story). I don't want to give away too much, but right off the bat the mystery starts (you receive a letter from your estranged sister who wants to get back together with you). You find yourself in what looks like an abandoned asylum that has the creepiest figure lurking about-one of the scariest I've seen in a while and reminiscent of the girl from The Grudge.
So far not much hand holding, even on casual. When you enter a room it is up to you to search every nook and cranny whether you just pull open empty drawers or find objects scattered about. Even the HO scenes require more thought than simply clicking on an object. For want of a better word, this game is very cerebral, and I had to put on my thinking cap for the entire trial.
I certainly plan to purchase this game as soon as my finances allow, and already I do believe that the Collector's Edition would be worth every penny. Not for children; there is nothing cute here. Even the doll gives me the creeps. And one last thing-all the while I was playing I was thinking of what a great horror movie this would make. I can only hope....
I recommend this game!

Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb
Search for hidden objects and circumvent unique puzzle traps to recover the Lost Tomb of Ancient Egypt.
Although this game is "old school", it is still fun to play. I had this game installed on my old PC from a few years ago and will probably purchase it again from BF (Just spent too much $$ so it will have to wait).
Every once in a while I like a break from the HOPA games so prevalent today and just go for the old fashioned hidden objects scenes and uncomplicated storyline. And any game with Ancient Egypt as its theme is always interesting. The difficulty in this offering ranges from easy to moderate; just right to spend some time relaxing and playing my favorite type of game.
Truly a stress buster for me. Try it, it's good old-fashioned fun!
HO scene lovers rejoice! This game is a wonderful combination of hard to find, challenging hidden object scenes, some relatively easy puzzles and one of the most intriguing mysteries of all time. I found it very engrossing and was glad the the objects were not all that easy. Some in fact were very tiny. But there are badges to collect that help you in times of trouble. There is also a morphing mist as well as a gentle sparkle that will sometimes show where an object is without having to use a hint.
Don't look for super graphics or overwhelming music. This game depends more on its foggy atmosphere to convey the East End of London during the time these horrendous murders took place.
It is not scary; the player follows McNaughton And Galton around as they find clues. You collect evidence but it is not used in other scenes; rather all is brought together at the end when you get to chose the best suspect.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and it gets top rating for hidden object lovers!
I recommend this game!

Amazing Adventures Riddle of the Two Knights
Follow a curious trail through crowded bazaars and snow-swept summits to find what is missing!
As with most games from this series, it provides a welcome break from the many HOPA offerings available from Big Fish. This is a perfect game to relax and unwind. The hidden object scenes range from easy to hard (I ran out of time on two levels). The puzzles are relatively easy, which makes them fun. No head banging like I sometimes feel with the mystery games from other studios.
The story is pretty vague and really not hard to figure out, but this is part of what makes Riddle of the Two Knights so appealing. I found it hard to pull myself away and was disappointed when I reached the end.
If you just want to kick back and relax and you are a hidden object scene lover like myself, I highly recommend this game. Just straightforward and fun!
Take a journey through medieval times. Help Joan of Arc to build a new kingdom and change the fate of the people in this epic story of honor and courage.
This game reminds me a lot of Cradle of Egypt, but it is more creative and fun. The music is very relaxing. I don't play timed mode because I want a real stress buster. The levels are interesting and I like the way the keys unlock additional parts of the level.
Although I really don't know where Joan of Arc comes in on this, that's besides the point as this game would be fun no matter what the subject matter. A nice switch from HOPA games. Thanks to Big Fish once again for offering a variety of games to suit any taste.
I had purchased this game years ago, long before I had joined Big Fish Games. Decided to give it a whirl again. What a marvelous game! The graphics, the sounds and the variety and advancing difficulty of the temple puzzles is extraordinary.
When I first saw the monkey, I thought this might be a bit childish. Was I ever wrong! This is so much more than a Match 3 game. It is an exercise in logic and adventure. If you think this type of game is boring, give this one a try. It will delight and surprise you!
