I usually read reviews, not write them, but I really wanted to call out the reasons I liked this game. I didn't feel like it was the Best Game Ever or anything, but in a time where I feel like BFG has been missing the mark, a decent game should be called out. BASED ON THE DEMO-
Likes: NOT another dark fairy tale, set in a different setting. The Wild West is one that I haven't seen too many of lately and it was a refreshing change. The music- Often I find game music to be just slightly irritating so I turn it off, but I kept all sound on for this game and felt it lent a really good layer to the overall experience. The interactive scenes- not always straight HOGs, sometimes finding one object to help find the next, etc. I like when they're all different. Art style- it was very well done, the scenes weren't all that dark blue grey color we see a lot. Lack of flashing scenes- as a photo-sensitive person, a lot of games mess with my eyes. This one didn't. Bonus points!!
Dislikes- I didn't like most of the mini games. I was happy for the option to skip them.
I will most likely buy this game today, but if not will definitely buy the regular edition when it releases.

There is nothing special about this game. It's not that visually pleasing, it's just boring. I couldn't even get through the trial, and I usually LOVE match-3 games!
I don't recommend this game.

I downloaded it, tried to play and nothing happened. Uninstalled, tried again and still nothing. Seems I wasn't the only one with this issue. I would love to play The Office game that actually works!

Poor graphics, ridiculous characters and plot, and overall just definitely a miss for those of us used to better quality HOG/puzzle games. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

I loved the art work, it was visually very pleasing. But the hint button was definitely not helpful, the progress of the story was not clear. While it would have been refreshing to play a story-like game that was outside of the norm of Ravenhearst and Grimm Facade, etc, one of the reasons those games do so well is because they are well planned out, their movement from screen to screen, puzzle to puzzle, is clear. I'll save my time for those types of games.

This is based on the trial only. I think it had the potential to be greater, the story was decent. But I found myself having to use the hint button a lot because some of the items that interacted with others weren't as logical. Not the worst, but not the best. Not worth buying, in my opinion, though I did finish the 60 minute trial.
I don't recommend this game.

The game itself isn't that bad, really. Quite fun as long as you have a full bar of health, until you realize that the only way to regain that health to keep playing levels is to leave it running as it slowly recharges (1 point of health per 3 minutes). My fault for not realizing that before purchase, but it was definitely a bummer to waste money on a game that I have to sit around and wait to play. Lesson learned.

This was one of the most painful games I've played in a while. Visually it was pretty cool, but the HOGs were terrible! The story didn't quite make sense, the clues didn't do a good job of pointing the player in the right direction. I kept thinking it would get better, but I was so happy when my demo was over (took about 30 mins).

I played the demo, and definitely loved it. After reading the reviews saying it was short, I did opt to use a free credit, but I'm sure I won't regret it. The game play was intriguing and although it had some of the same dark and sinister good vs evil that most BFG have these days, I always was a fan of carnival/circus storylines. The graphics are pretty good and I liked the way the story flipped back and forth.
