Played it for the full hour, and I loved the adventure aspect of this game. Lots of inventory items to discover and some HO scenes to put up with (adventurers know what I mean). Puzzles are not new, but they post a decent amount of challenge without being frustrating. There is some backtracking to use an item a few scenes away that you just picked up or to revisit a HOS, but this time to find all the keys to find that "special" one. Hint will show you where to use an object, so if hint is not helpful for anything you have in inventory, then perhaps you missed picking something up. I didn't notice a map, but I was having such a good time, I honestly didn't think about it. I'll probablly get this game.

Royal Detective: The Lord of Statues Collector's Edition
Save the besieged alpine village of Martlet and rescue its residents from the mysterious living statues in this exciting Hidden Object Adventure game!
Unbelievably well done. The game will definately be a part of my collection. Just put a checkmark next to everything you would ever wanted in a game - I think they've been listening to us. Won't even think twice about getting the collector's edition, after what I just played, I'm hooked. Great for casual gamers all the way to hardcore.

Eastville Chronicles: The Drama Queen Murder
Solve a murder in the world famous Eastville Opera House! The Queen of Drama, Dolores Molinero has been killed and the suspect is still at large.
LOTS of hidden objects, but the story moved fairly quickly. I made it to the 4th Level - house. Dinky and "old school", but entertaining little mini games. Nothing was hard about this, but somehow, I enjoyed myself.

Time Chronicles: The Missing Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa has been stolen! Travel between the past and present to gather clues and unravel a sinister plot.
Had a quiet afternoon so I played it for the full hour. I agree, enter location HOG, enter new location HOG. They were so persistent that I just started clicking on everything to make them go away faster to I could to enjoy the "logic" puzzles if you can call them that. How can we get the critter out of the hole? Maybe something tasty! Simple, Simples games. Storyline is predictable, but enjoyable. A bit of a translation problem - locker key called locket key, etc. I estimate that I finished over 50% of my game in the hour. I'd recommend on a great sale for those who like this kind of thing.

Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress Witch
After their hiking trip takes a tragic turn, a group of friends are forced to travel between realms to undo an old wrong and save the Cypress Witch.
Fairly simple puzzles (so far), but cute storyline - don't want to give anything away! More logic puzzles than HOG, multiple characters to interact with. Yes, there is some switching back and forth between scenes, but it blocks you from going too far. Well done!

Haunting Mysteries: The Island of Lost Souls Collector's Edition
Free the trapped souls and reunite a love long lost in Haunting Mysteries: The Island of Lost Souls!
Good game helping poor souls, decent story, HOGs with Adventure, revisiting sites, but they are close by. HOGs are easy to see, but sometimes difficult to find - can be tricky. Puzzles have been easy durng 1 hr demo. Story didn't leave me curious. I'll give it another go another day.

Fabled Legends: The Dark Piper Collector's Edition
The Dark Piper unleashes infested rodents into the town of Hamelin! Defeat him before he leaves a trail of destruction all across Europe!
I have NEVER purchased a Collector's Edition game before the demo was up, but I had so many areas of the map and storyline that I wanted to explore, that I didn't want to feel that rush of 1 hour almost up. Going to buy now.
Pied Piper of Hamlin is back to take revenge on the inhabitants of the city of Hamlin - nuff said.
Music was appropriately spooky and serene, Map available showing you objective areas, In game strategy guide, lots of items on the screen are interactive, including the HOS. I'll leave it up to you to figure out what to do with them. New types of games, new types of "cursed" objects. Bonus game button for those who finish the standard game. I love that you can click on stuff in the game that you don't necessarily need, and the game interactively discusses the items - pulls you in. Oh yes, and there's RATS!
I'm going to take my time on this game. Fun times ahead.

Tiger Eye: The Sacrifice
In this adventurous romance, outwit powerful villains and break an evil curse inflicted upon your love, Hari, while saving your best friend’s life!
Fun little puzzles - great for a lazy afternoon. Lots of little mini-games along with one find three or more of the same shape game until you turn all the pieces gold which you can play as long as you like. Yes, old school navigation (arrows) and graphics, but I entertained myself thoroughly.

Rita James and the Race to Shangri La
Join the “More Brave than Brilliant” Rita James on another whirlwind adventure in search of the mythical paradise of Shangri-La!
It was reminiscent of the old adventure games with a few hidden objects mixed in. Voice overs are good, graphics are okay, but you have to explore quite a bit to know what to do without a hint. Storyline is a bit silly with a professor being falsely accused, a female pilot adventurer and a one-eyed monkey. Puzzles were not really complicated, but they were not interesting to me. Overall, so-so.
