i really liked this game. i bought it because i liked the hitchhiker game and liked this one even more. the hint and skip buttons charge fairly fast and there aren't a lot of puzzles to solve and those are not too bad. there is a journal to help you and the hint system pretty much walks you through it. i got confused a time or two but finally figured it out. the graphics are pretty clean and clear and not too crowded. if you liked the first one you should like this one more. i can't give a rating on the sound because i didn't use it much.
enjoyed this game so much. played relaxed. power-ups helped. i didn't listen to the sound much so no comment there. it took me 20 hrs to finish. it tells you at the end how long you played it. that includes time i wasn't actively playing it. doing dishes and things while it was up. it told me how many blocks i broke. the pipe puzzles took awhile to figure out, but the block puzzles were a little harder and i had to cheat on a few of them. haha!!! well worth playing, though. i think i may go back and play the first one now. thoroughly enjoyed it and M3s usually don't make this much of an impression.
Prepare for a mind-bending journey into the realm of the weird in Haunted Halls: Revenge of Dr. Blackmore! Brace yourself for the unexpected in this exciting Hidden Object adventure!
dr. blackmore is back and just as evil as ever. he has taken hostages and you have to free them to get the one you care about the most released. it is a great game and the graphics are pretty good. sound is something i don't know about. i only heard it a couple of times. the puzzles were different and i solved a few of them. hint/skip button charged fairly fast. hints don't always tell you what to do as much as where to go. you have to figure it out yourself. there is a journal there. there is also a lab where you have to mix things together to advance through the levels.
i can't comment on the sound...didn't use it. skips and hints charge fast and i had to skip most of the games.....it's a me thing and logic. it is a long game so when you start prepare to be there quite a while. you play as 3 different people and collect items and player #1 may or may not use it but maybe player #2 or #3 may need it. you have to switch items around a lot and you are back and forth between the people a good bit. i really liked it and think if you read this you will be prepared for a long haul. graphics were good and not very cluttered in the HO scenes. there wasn't a whole lot of them. just enough to be interesting. you get items you will need when you finish them and use those items to get more. there is a map and it is interactive but there is a separate one for each player. you can't see the others until you choose that person and then you can. the ending is interesting!!!!!!
it is a HO object game mostly, but some scenes you have to place the objects back into the scene. the hint and skip buttons charge fast. the hints will walk you right through the game if you want, and the mini games were different. i skipped most of them because i just am not good at them, but they are very different. it wasn't overly hard, but you did have to think about what comes next and where you need to go unless you use the hints a lot. you have a journal but no map. you are trying to figure out what happened to a cast of characters that were going to put on a performance. some of the HO scenes are crowded and some are hard to find the objects because of dimness, but other games are much worse.
The entire town has been put into a deep, dark sleep by a mysterious evil force. Now young Lillian must find allies and uncover the dark secrets of voodoo in order to save her master and free her friends before it is too late.
i liked the game. the hints charged fast and it was a HO and adventure game. the hints tell you where to go but a few times i had to go to the walk through to find out what to do next. some of the things didn't seem to be what i thought they should be so i tried all the inventory when i got stuck. you mix potions to get through the game and i was surprised by the ending. it didn't take too long but i enjoyed the game. don't know about sound. didn't play it.
I recommend this game!

Hidden Mysteries®: Gates of Graceland®
Explore the home of the King of Rock and Roll while searching for clues about a lost song!
i first started HO games with the hidden mysteries series and i thought they were hard to find the objects but i hung in there. i either got better or the developers did as this one is a good one. the hints charge fairly fast and the skip button as well. the games are logic, not my best type. the music wasn't all the great. it did include some actual footage and home movies of elvis so if you are an elvis fan you will probably love this game. i liked it without being a big elvis fan. there is a journal and a map, but the map is not interactive, but there is not a big playing field to backtrack on. there is back and forth, but it is reasonable.
i really liked this game! it wasn't very hard and would be good for children. you earn bonuses by matching icons and they help you win each level. there are over 100 levels but it doesn't take too long to finish. i didn't time it but i didn't play constantly, either. i had to go do other things. you build a small city with your earnings and sometimes it takes awhile, but again, it is a pretty easy game to match. i got to the end and it said i completed all the buildings but it kept on letting me match. going to look into that. i must have missed something.
the graphics are clear and the story makes sense. it is based on the 12 days of christmas and the HO scenes have different items mentioned in the song in the scenes. hints and skips charge quickly and that helps to make it a good game for the kids as well since they don't have to wait long to click them for help. no diary or map but you don't need them. the game automatically goes to the next scene. if you have kids that like HO games they should really like this. it is not overly long and it didn't take me too long to finish it. and don't get me wrong it is a good game for adults that are tired of the challenges and just want a laid back game to play!!! it is nothing but HO scenes but there is a story as well.
i really like these games. this one is just as good as the ones in the past. it takes awhile to get through it. it has an interactive map to transport you from place to place and you will need it unless you live to travel. the skip and hint buttons charge quickly and the mini games are not too hard, but again i am not good at them. i like the dog. he was fun. the hint button actually tells your next action. you just have to remember where the place is. no diary. but with the hint system you really don't need it as long as you look around whenever you have to have a code for something. it is usually in the scene. again i liked this one as much as the others.
