i didn't really like this game that much. no skips. it had a good storyline, but it took forever to finish. others might that, i had to keep cheating to finish. it is about a woman that goes exploring and winds up finding people she didn't expect to find. if you are like me and want to be able to skip some games.....try the demo first to be sure you will be happy spending the money. the hint button and item locator are both slow charging. there is a diary and an interactive map but the map is so-so for helping.
I recommend this game!

hint/skip charge fast. played casual/no sound. interactive map. journal. hints do hand-hold you, but the map will let you jump if you remember where to go. it also shows where you have things to do. you are tracking down a madman that is killing young women. you use scents that you have to mix to get through things. they are not hard. there will be a sequel i am sure since it was started at the end of this one.

Strange Cases: The Faces of Vengeance
Agent Claire Ellery must rescue her young ward, but this masked kidnapper has set deadly traps in the abandoned mall!
played casual. low sound-what you would expect. hint/skip charge fairly fast. follows along like the others. in this one you are trying to rescue a girl that has been taken by an evil man. a detective is helping you. hints hand-hold you through it. there is an interactive map that will jump to where you want to go once you have been there. it also shows where there is a point of interest. surprise ending. i am sure there will be a sequel. there so far has been. i didn't really like this one as much as the others.
really enjoyed this game. played regular mode. hints charge fast. you have to reassemble a dreamcatcher to save the girl and she is in "dreamscape mode" that you need to save her from. graphics are great!!!! you have to find little "beholders" in each scene, but if you don't, it advances anyway. there is a sequel coming according to the end of this game and would be sensible since the girl's friend is in the game as well. really good game!!!!!!

lots of HO scenes that you have to solve a puzzle to get to. i played casual and had some low sound. the sound is the same as expected for this type of game. hints hand-hold you. graphics were good. HO scenes were a little crowded but with the good graphics items were seen most most of the time. no map but there is a journal.

Adventure Chronicles: The Search for Lost Treasures
Susan Anderson is back, following the clues of a mysterious benefactor, searching the world for the treasures of legend.
i had to cheat a lot in this game. once i figured it out it was still hard. i like easier games where i don't have to try as hard. i like to be able to sit down and some thinking is not bad, but this was hard for me. i have other things on my mind and that may be some of it. hints charged fast. if you want a time-consuming game (that is what it was to me) this would be a good choice. i kept having the feeling it was a sequel to the escape the museum games but not sure of that.
