this game finds you, the detective, being called in to find out what happened in the town and why a man was murdered. there is a diary but no map but you don't need one. hints/skips charge fast and tell you where to go. i enjoyed this game as much as the others. sequel....maybe. played casual and low sound. graphics are good.
lots of HO scenes that you have to solve a puzzle to get to. i played casual and had some low sound. the sound is the same as expected for this type of game. hints hand-hold you. graphics were good. HO scenes were a little crowded but with the good graphics items were seen most most of the time. no map but there is a journal.
i had to cheat a lot in this game. once i figured it out it was still hard. i like easier games where i don't have to try as hard. i like to be able to sit down and some thinking is not bad, but this was hard for me. i have other things on my mind and that may be some of it. hints charged fast. if you want a time-consuming game (that is what it was to me) this would be a good choice. i kept having the feeling it was a sequel to the escape the museum games but not sure of that.
played casual no sound. hints/skips charge fairly fast. hints are great. there is a journal and an interative map. you really don't need hints because the map tells you where you need to go to fulfill the things you haven't done yet. the hints can help if you are stuck, and i got stuck a few times.
played casual, no sound. hint/skip charges pretty fast. you re looking for 4 songbirds that can help keep a spell from burning up a place. interactive map which you need but no journal or diary, but you really don't need one. the hints tell you where to go. the HO scenes were very clear with good graphics.
it is a good game regardless of shorter length. hint charges fast. great graphics and HO not cluttered. played casual, no sound. journal. a man who is actually looking for his brother and is not aware of why he is causing so much havoc. looks like a sequel will be coming.
i really, really liked this game. it wasn't as much HO as finding various objects to get the one that you need. haven't done one of those in a while so it was a nice change. played casual, no sound. hint/skip charge fast. journal. hints tell you where to go. you are responding to a letter received and it is to help your uncle???. anyway, there is a man wanting to build robots with artificial intelligence. sequel, hard to say.
played casual, no sound. hints/skips charge pretty fast. great graphics. HO scenes not cluttered. seldom had to use a hint for them. hints tell where you need to go and you have a journal and an interactive map so you can make it easy to play. you are a detective called in to investigate a story and when you get there there is a string of events that is happening that you have figured is related to the reason you have been sent there.
another game that is in the surface series that is a great play. you are reuniting with your brother and his "wonderful" new air show entry. it goes wrong though and he eventually gets taken prisoner. don't want to give too much away. great graphics. played casual, no sound. 60 second charge on hint and skip button. journal and interactive map which you will probably use. sequel??? i feel sure.
this game is based on romeo and juliet and a weird guy that uses peoples souls for the actors. he has captured the souls of 3 teenagers and are using them in the play. you are there to stop him and free the teenagers. the graphics are great and the hint/skip buttons charge relatively fast. i played casual, no sound. the HO scenes are not HO. you are given pictures of items and then you have to place them into the scene. gears show you where the items go. you just have to figure out which one goes where. there is a journal and a list of tasks and an interactive map and you need that. hints show where to place items and which ones to place but in the game they only tell you where you need to go. sequel????? i believe so.
