there was no map, so get your walking shoes on. lots of traveling. hints don't teleport you they just tell you where to go or point out objects. no diary or journal. different levels to play under. for some reason i didn't really like it. it was a short game as well. looking at other reviews i am in the minority but that is ok. i would recommend others to play the download first, which i did and put it on my list to get but just didn't like it once i got past the demo section.
there is a custom level and an interactive map. the hints and map are great. there is a journal that has all the pertinent information you will need. you arrive after the wedding and find martha has been killed and you need to find out who killed her. the bride is extremely upset and you need to find out everything that is going on there to settle it for her. is there going to be a sequel.....i feel sure...............
there is a custom level and the hint system employs teleporting when it is necessary. most everything you need is put into your inventory so not much if anything is needed from the journal. all codes and such are in the inventory and place themselves when needed. HO scenes are pretty good. seldom needed hints. you are asked to come to the town by an old friend that feels she is being stalked and when you arrive you see her being swept away by the black menance. she is just out of your grip every time. just as you catch she is swept away again. sequel.....i feel sure some sort of thing
I recommend this game!

Redemption Cemetery: Clock of Fate
Can you undo the past and set the trapped souls free?
there is a custom level and map. you are trying to fix the lives of the undead by turning back the clock. you have to stop time, with your clock that has been given to you, things from happening to save others. we are have always been taught that changing history is not a good thing but in this game it is good and it frees the souls. the game ends abruptly and i wasn't even sure it was over but because of the last scene i feel sure there will a sequel......
professor bennett and eve glover are back in another harmonium-based HO game. i played on the custom level and had easy settings. i still had trouble with the mini-games because they were logic-based and i don't do well on those. you are searching for the orb to save the world and then it is taken to earth to destroy it. not good. there are regular HO scenes and fragmented scenes and i think maybe a silhouette scene. there is a map and journal/diary and list of objectives. very similiar to the last one. sequel......i believe so.
I recommend this game!

Danger Next Door: Miss Teri Tale's Adventure
Your neighbor, Monty, has been murdered! It`s up to you to solve the case by exploring solving puzzles and finding clues.
you play as terry and you are trying to solve murders in this town. each chapter starts with a screen that has animation on it. like a jib jab thing. i liked it and would have given it a 5 star rating except for having trouble seeing some of the items in the HO scenes. it was too dark on some and some just too small. i had to use the hint button more than i usually do. the mini games were interesting......different. this was a different sort of HO game, but still it was enjoyable. it may be a good game for children to get used to the HO type of game. sequel..............well, there could be.
a different kind of match 3 with a traditional match 3 thrown in now and then. you are dropping items from the top to match the items on the screen and get rid of them. not so challenging on the untimed mode, which i played, but there is a timed mode you can play. there are 100 levels to get through
it is a typical mahjong game. has lots of levels and isn't overly hard at all. has 4 powerups and i don't know what they all do. that comes out at the beginning of the game. one was a board shuffle that i mistakenly hit a few times. the game is not overly challenging. it does require some strategy so you don't have to use the power-ups and if you run out of matches the power up to shuffle automatically does it's thing. it is a good game to have to play at little at a time if you just want something that you don't have to think too hard about. i didn't use a timer and don't remember if there was one. the amount of time you take to finish a level is tracked, though.
you are called to the northwest to look into the stone spires university fire. you are greeted by amanda who had bought the original hotel and turned it into a school. somehow a fire started and burned most all of it. you have to dig through what is left and uncover what happened. was it an arsonist or the phoenix that has been seen? amanda's love, steven, has been taken by someone and she doesn't have a clue where he is. you dig through the ashes to find the answers you seek. sequel......oh i am sure there will be!!!
