I played the demo and recommend this game. It is an enchanting story about saving the forest which will save the fairies. Time to step back into childhood. Just for myself, I don't care for puzzles in which you move one thing and several other things move, too frustrating. The puzzle instructions were a bit vague as well. I didn't say the puzzles were bad, not at all.
This game comes with favorite bells & whistles: bonus game, collectibles, morphing objects and more. Plus you can use something to buy furniture & stuff for the queen's house. Cute!
As an agent of the Alliance, you’ve been given a mission to destroy an ancient artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. In the wrong hands, it could help conquer the world.
I just finished the demo. I recommend this for history buffs and those who like the war era, 1942, Europe. I want to finish the game!
-Good, clear graphics -collectibles, morphing -mechanical puzzles for steampunk fans -logical problem-solving -map that shows location and actions to be taken -hint & skip buttons -interact with well-drawn characters, good voice acting -get engaged with the story! -HOS's are a mix of finding objects, combining-opening-interacting with things and shadow/shape hints.
This game doesn't seem to be based on magic/potions/incantations although I can't say for sure since I only played the demo. Keep in mind the leader of that time liked the occults.
This adventure is refreshing, fun, and colorful. I just finished the Demo.
Pros: There are no dark, soupy pictures to try and squint at. The puzzles are challenging enough. I would like to see sparkles around a hot item when I'm taking too long to find it. Hint helps when you don't know what to do next. Avoids occult symbols and solutions. Fun and interesting story line. I'd like to see how it ends.
Cons: Loading screen time between each location. Instead of clicking on the item I want her to walk to, I have to click on the arrow in the bottom, right-hand corner which loads a new screen/view. This is more loading time to wait through. Instead of dragging an item from inventory to the item I want it to interact with, I have to click on the inventory item to highlight it, then click on the other item. This is slower, imo.
None of the "cons" are a big deal or a deal breaker. This is a really fun and pleasant game. A nice break from saving the world, evil persons ruling the world, bombs, poison, etc. I found myself taking a deep breath and smiling as I played.
I have been strictly an adventure gamer since the 80's. But recently I've been buying adventure/hidden object games as they are lighter weight, still making me do problem solving, but providing a way out with built-in hints and skip buttons.
