You can play this game either as timed or as relaxed. I'm playing it as relaxed. I usually do that when I play the demo so I can get an idea of the game without the extra stress of the timer. The game thus far is rather easy especially in relaxed mode. Sometimes though easy is kind of, well, relaxing for a change. The graphics are very colorful and the boards are easy to see the differences between the tiles. The only thing that's annoying is that there is a lot of story between every level. It's all written too. I wish someone spoke the story. You can click on Start and skip the story but then you, uh, miss the story.
I'm at the end of the 60 minutes and I'm buying the game. I don't need my brain to fry with every game. Gentle and colorful is nice.

This game would be OK if I could figure out how to play it. The help is only one screen describing the most basic match 3 help. There are lots of things going on that I would like help with. Without it the game is tedious and I'd rather spend time on games I know how to play or that are simple enough I can easily figure them out.

The object of the game was to restore 21 objects in the garden. You do this by purchasing blue prints using coins you build up in the hidden object games. Most items then require materials that you build up in various ways.
There are 10 achievements you can obtain while playing the game. One of the achievements is to completely restore the garden. Once that is done, however, there's no point to continuing to play even though you don't have the other achievements. One achievement is to collect loose hidden coins in the scenes. For each achievement, you can get three stars. To get the first star in the loose coins achievement, you have to collect 1000 loose coins. It took me 509 levels to get that. To get the second star you need to get 2,500 loose coins. That would take me maybe 1,250 levels. Yuck!
The game doesn't seem to ever end. There is also a lot of match 3 levels of only three different types. The only good thing is that the hidden items are fairly easy to find.
This is an agonizing game. Even though I like games that aren't too hard, I don't want to be playing the similar levels over and over and over again. I never would have bought this had I known the drudgery.
I bought this game and I'm continuing with it. It's fun. I like the visuals. But it's not very intuitive. It takes quite a while (for me at least) to figure out how to make bonuses move, for instance. There is extensive help available with the ? on the book on the upper left corner. It still is taking me a while to figure everything out. It also has Mahjong mini-games which I don't care for. On the whole though, it's enjoyable and I hope to finish.
I recommend this game!

I bought and finished this game. I really enjoyed it. I did play it on the easy mode. I rated level of challenge with five bars because there are two more difficult modes that I may or may not try. Sometimes an easy game is just what the "doctor" ordered. You play it and have fun and don't agonize over it. There have been some complaints of problems with the game and it indeed locked up a few times. However, it let you right back it in. So if you want a relaxing game that's pleasant, try this one on easy mode.
I recommend this game!

I have always enjoyed Fishdom 3 games and purchased this one expecting hours of fun from it as well. However, in timed mode at least, the game is just too hard. Level 46 took me about four times trying it and level 47 the same because of bombs that explode after a certain amount of time. In order to defeat the levels, you have to either explode the bombs before they explode or you have to finish the level. With limited numbers of tokens you can swap, these things are quite hard to do.
There is also oil that seeps out and spreads to an adjacent square if you don't make a match next to the oil on your turn. The oil thus far has not kept me from completing a level but it does take away from the fun of the game.
With at least 250 levels to complete for me to be stuck before level 50 makes the game too difficult. I gave the game a score of two on the level of challenge because it's too hard. It also reduced the fun factor for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I love games that are fun, have some variety, have cute graphics and that aren't toooo difficult. This game is one of those. I have to think but not so much that I can't figure it out. The only thing is that I thought there were lots of bonuses but I've only found one but maybe I haven't played it long enough yet.
I recommend this game!

This looks like it could be a fun game. But... There are no instructions. I don't know what I'm doing. I get "you need to buy a prior improvement" but it won't let me buy any improvements at all. The game doesn't tell you what weapons stop what enemy attacks. If there is any help, I couldn't find it. So I wanted to like it but I was shooting in the dark.
I don't recommend this game.

Usually I'm a Match 3 person but sometimes I like a different kind of game. The problem with the brick smashers is that often I can't win them. I guess it's my coordination or lack thereof.
I did win this game. The main thing I disliked was that the instructions weren't very good. How do you put gems together to make other gems, for instance? After a while I figured it out but even the ending gem was hard to figure.
But... It's not a long game and it's winnable and the graphics are just fine and the power-ups were good to play with. I'll probably replay the game.
So, I disagree with the other reviewers. If you are fantastic with brick games, this isn't for you. But if you're just so-so, this is a lot of fun!
I recommend this game!

I have four of the five 7 Wonders games here. They typically have special bonuses which help you to defeat the levels. They let you put the pieces you get where you want. They have cute graphics. They have a shuffle button. Well, not all of the games. This one is the first and it shows it. No bonuses, no shuffle, no placing the pieces. On top of it all, you have to wait until all pieces stop falling to make your next selection. I got the game when it was on sale. Not having it would be like not having the first book in a series. So I'm glad I got it but it sure shows it's the first. My recommendation is based on wanting the whole series (and I know I have one left to get!)
