I only made it halfway through the trial before uninstalling. I found the icons were far too similar in color to make matches easily. At first, matching the buns had all the other ingredients filled by falling pieces so just had to keep matching the buns. But as more ingredients were added, it became very difficult to match any ingredients, let alone the buns. I already have this type of match 3 in my purchase history so I think I will go play one of those games instead. This may not be an issue for other players so give it a try and you may like it. It's just not for me.
The icons are large and fill the squares, making it a bit harder to discern the boxes that still need to be broken. For me, this brings a bit more of a challenge to the game play. Match 3 is my favorite genre so finding a game that challenges me is appreciated. The music is repetitive but I usually turn it down quite low. The one thing developers seem to have missed is there is no indication of how much gold I have so I have to click on a purchase option to get this info. Not a big deal but there is more than enough room on the main page to have this info tucked up in a corner. I am hoping the game proves to be long as I don't want to have the fun end before I am ready. A definite buy for me!
I am enjoying this game as it is a new twist on the old match 3 formula. Working against the timer increases the challenge. A variety of bonuses to buy. And there are the bonus games of catching gems that Yolk (?name) drops from the sky, and the "spin the wheel" bonus. Only problem...have over 250 gems (and 7 amulets) but still stuck in the "farm" screen. A few more instructions might have helped to clarify the needed goals to progress through the game.
