I found the game to be fun and enjoyable. The floating cursor was a bit annoying at first but after playing the game for a couple of hours I adapted and no longer noticed.
THE ONE HOUR TRIAL DOES NOT DO THE GAME JUSTICE. The first 3 adventures are short and only teach the basics. There is quite a bit of more complex strategy as the game progresses and you have to spread your development around to get the most out of your units, including earning and building more powerful and interesting units than are available in the early game. There is more to learn in the further campaigns and many of the questions that remained for me after the first hour were answered in the 2nd hour of play.
I played for what felt like an extra hour and when I glanced up at the clock 4 hours had gone by. The game play was very addictive and it is endlessly replayable as each time you replay a campaign it is different and there are LOTS of campaigns to play.
I bought this game and I reccomend it to anyone that enjoys games like Risk or Civilization.

Blending HO and TM together is usually a bad idea. This is no exception. I like TM games and greatly dislike HO games. This is not really a TM game it is an HO game with a tiny smidge of TM.
I imagine that people who like HO games will enjoy this. I could only stand about 10 minutes of it.
The game is reasonably fun as far as time managemant games go though it is too click heavy for my tastes.
If you do not have good reflexes (mine aren't the best and they are getting worse as I get older) you'll never get a chance to finish the game.
I'm currently 10 points short of being able to unlock level 18. I have 5 gold levels and all the rest are silver. Try as I might I can't seem to improve any scores enough to go on. I'd like to see what happens further along in the game but I can't progress any farther because of the way that the farther levels unlock.
This makes the game frustrating instead of fun.
I find that I am regretting purchasing this game for this reason alone. I don't recommend this game. I would change that opinion and give the game a higher rating if the developers were to adjust it so that it was easier to unlock all the levels or if there was a "casual mode" that didn't require the levels to be unlocked to proceed.
