This was worth every penny. Unlike some series that get sloppier the longer they go on, every game in the Dark Parables series seems to improve on the rest. This one is no exception. Great graphics and gameplay. My only quibble is that I would love to see a jump to map for less back and forthing. But eh, I still love this game. The bonus play was lovely as well.
I recommend this game!

I'm not even all the way through the demo yet and this is a thumbs down, 2 thumbs down even. I feel all disappointed because I felt so excited to see a Princess Isabella sequel and well, apparently this franchise is not aging well. It felt slapped together and I dunno, this felt cheaply made and poorly thought out. Blech. This is definitely basement level mediocrity, not enough to waste time or money on.
I don't recommend this game.

Another fun build a cool fishtank game from Playrix. I know I shouldn't be buying a game during finals, but I'll justify it as stress management! Anyway, it isn't super challenging so far, but it might get harder as the levels go up. Although judging by the other Playrix games, I doubt that it'll be too strenuous. Anyone who has played Fishdom knows the deal here, this time you play hidden object scenes to earn money to upgrade your tank(s). This is not a serious HOG, I'm playing on relaxed mode so that I can enjoy the pretty fishies. Sometimes it's nice not to search for the creepy stuff.
I recommend this game!

Zapping bugs has never felt so good. You'd think playing the same simple game for a long time would be tedious but time just flew by. I had to tear myself away. The graphics are cute. The music is super repetitive and I turned it down or off at times.
I recommend this game!

Ha! You'll be full of the cheesy pirate speak with this game too.
This is really one of the most enjoyable match 3 games out there because there's so much variety and because the match 3 games themselves require a little strategy on your part. The graphics are fun and the audio is clever. Highly recommended. I've actually owned this game for a bit and still find myself playing it.
I recommend this game!

This game was just what I needed this weekend. The graphics are cute in a cheerful and fun way. I would have liked more variety in the character illustrations--I kept confusing them for each other. This was especially true once you re-trained them for something and their outfit changed to suit the new job. Some of the characters were a little on the hackneyed stereotyped side (*cough* the native Islanders... *cough*) but overall, not bad.
The pirate mini game was so cute. That's the part that kept me occupied while I waited for my islanders to finish tasks. The tasks were not as difficult to figure out as say, Virtual Villagers, which was a both a plus and a minus. The game was over a bit quickly for me. Dunno if I just had a good strategy or if I just got lucky.
Oh, as a bonus, I really loved the sound effects. They changed as you scrolled past various areas--including silence near the hospital, which was a clever touch.
I recommend this game!

Rarely do I actually say to myself, "this game sucks" because I have a high boredom threshold. I said that about this game 10 minutes in. I had to turn off the sound immediately because the first HOS emitted a TERRIBLE sound every time you found an object. The scene itself was lackluster and the graphics are bad. There is no way to turn off the tutorial. The written dialogue was painful to read and slooooooow. With drama queen in the title I expected something fun, perhaps a little snarky but what I got was a loss of 10 minutes of my life. Uninstall.
How bad is this game? I wouldn't even buy it as a daily deal for $2.99.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is perfect for those "I want to relax and unwind" kind of days. There's just enough storyline to keep events moving along. The graphics are well done and the combo of HOG/FROG elements keeps it interesting. The puzzles are okay, nothing too complex but not simplistic either.
This game is a worker bee--competent, does its job, makes a lovely product, but doesn't have the flash & power of the queen bee.
I recommend this game!

I love this game. The visuals are just wonderful. I like how different each scene looks. Although I love those adventure HOGs sometimes I just want to look at something cool and find stuff. This game cleverly and successfully navigates the tightrope between simple and boring. A definite relaxer after a stressful day.
I recommend this game!

This game doesn't seem worth it. This game never captured my interest. The graphics & voiceovers were okay but I couldn't get into the lackluster storyline and the game just seemed... I dunno... inert? I didn't even bother finishing the demo because I'd rather be playing new games or trying out more interesting ones. Mediocre.
I don't recommend this game.
